The eagles from across the Jwar Isles come to the call of the Tengu. Great, majestic, aerial hunters, undisputed kings of the sky across most of the empire. Eagles are huge birds of prey, some able to lift off a whole goat using their massive wings. Recently, the eagles have also come to the call of another, a human blessed to carry the Mon of the Eagle clan.

Shenzhiqi is the youngest of the three and in honesty without his brothers he would have fallen or been captured moons ago. That said he is as important to them as they are to him, together they push each other to greater feats and when fighting alongside each other they become a seemingly unstoppable force. Where Ying-Jian has foregone some of the niceties of their upbringing Shenzhiqi has somehow managed to maintained his moral compass.

Shuohuang is considered one of the greatest swordsmen in the empire, he has surpassed all kenjutsu masters who ever taught him and any samurai with any skill with a blade will know his name. Now he has spread his great wings and left his mountain home the spirits and prospects of the people of the Rokan can only be lifted as a result.

Kurouma Tenbatsu is a broken and twisted man. Some say that the colossus of a man is a twisted soul, torn between this world and Jikoku for his sins, some that the man is dead and that the cursed swords he is forever bound to carry constantly fight for control of him, others that he has sold his soul for eternal life and is simply a man too far down his dark path to ever come back.
