In-Store Returns


To receive a full refund on items purchased in store, return the unopened merchandise to the store within 14 days of purchase and provide proof of purchase.


A full refund is the total amount paid by the customer at the time of purchase, via cash, card, or both. Refunds can only be made in the form that the payment was received, and refunds to cards can only be issued to the card that was used for the original payment. Store credit is non-refundable.

Unopened merchandise is merchandise that is returned to the store in the state it was at the time of purchase. All product must be included, unaltered, inside of the original packaging, with all seals intact. Merchandise that does not fit this description is considered damaged, and is not eligible for a full refund. Merchandise with mild damage may be eligible for a partial refund at the discretion of store management.

For defective merchandise which has broken, missing, or inoperable parts prior to purchase, please contact customer service to obtain replacement parts. The process to obtain replacement parts varies by manufacturer.

Time of purchase is defined as the time at which the product is received by the customer, even if payment has been rendered at another time.

Proof of purchase includes printed and email receipts which contain the order number of your purchase. You must provide proof of purchase to be eligible for a refund.



Shipping Returns


To receive a partial refund on items purchased online via ValhallaHobby.com, return the unopened merchandise to the store within 30 days of purchase.


Your purchase is eligible for a full refund if you were sent a different item than the item you ordered, the product sustained significant damage in transit, or the product was misrepresented on the website. For defective merchandise which has broken, missing, or inoperable parts prior to purchase, please contact customer service to obtain replacement parts. The process to obtain replacement parts varies by manufacturer.

All discretionary returns are not eligible for a full refund. Orders that have been shipped to the customer may be returned within 30 days of the shipping date for a partial refund if the merchandise is unopened.

Shipping charged on the order is non-refundable. For online returns, you can ship the package back to the store at your own cost or Valhalla Hobby can generate a return label upon request. The cost of the return shipping with the provided label will be deducted from the refund. The remainder of the purchase total after the original shipping charge and the return shipping charge are deducted will be issued as a partial refund upon receipt of the returned merchandise.

If merchandise is returned to sender by the carrier due to an incorrect address provided by the buyer, the order will be considered a return and the shipping charge will be deducted from the refund. If merchandise is successfully delivered to an address provided by the buyer, the order will not be eligible for a refund even if the buyer was not located at the address at time of delivery, including if the buyer has changed address since placing the order and has not informed us about the address change.

Proof of purchase must be included in the returned package. The packing slip or a print out of your email receipt will serve as proof of purchase.


Cancellation Policy


Orders for in-stock items are eligible for a full refund if they are cancelled before the shipping confirmation email is sent. After the shipping confirmation is sent, the order must be processed as a return. Backorders and Preorders are eligible for a partial refund if they are cancelled before the shipping confirmation email is sent.


Your purchase is eligible for a full refund if the cancellation is initiated by the seller due to an inventory discrepancy or an item being incorrectly listed as available to order when it is out of print or otherwise unable to be fulfilled by the seller.

Your purchase is eligible for a full refund if the item purchased was in-stock at the time your order was submitted and you request cancellation before the shipping confirmation email is sent to the email address associated with the order. Order Status Update emails which contain a tracking number for a partial order also qualify as shipping confirmation emails.

After the shipping confirmation has been sent, the order must be processed as a return in accordance with the above return policy.
For items that are not in-stock at the time of purchase, denoted by a Preorder or Backorder status on the line item, cancellations may be subject to a 25% restocking fee per item cancelled.

In the case of in-store pickup orders, the purchase is eligible for a full refund if the item purchased was in-stock at the time of your order and you request cancellation within 48 hours of the Ready for Pickup email. After these 48 hours, the cancellation may be subject to a 5% restocking fee.
For items that are not in-stock at the time of purchase, denoted by a Preorder or Backorder status on the line item, cancellations may be subject to a 25% restocking fee per item cancelled.
Orders for which payment has not been remitted may be returned to stock 14 days after a Ready for Pickup email has been sent.
