  • The Nickar class hunter-killer is a small, atmospheric-capable vessel of sub-frigate tonnage. These nimble, fast ships are rightly feared by any enemy vessel that operates in atmosphere - this ship's favourite hunting ground. Armed with specialist plasma munitions, these deadly predators can easily destroy vessels larger than themselves such as strike carriers.

In the opening days of the Reconquest, this class was responsible for more Armoured Corps losses than ground actions. Thousands of men and vehicles were lost to hunter-killer incursions aboard their strike carriers before they even made it to the surface. Since these vessels operate in the relative safety of atmosphere, the best measure against them is corvettes - a lesson learned the hard way by the Admiralty who no longer discount such small ships in their battle plans.

  • Defence monitors are unusual ships for the Scourge, as they don’t conform to their aggressive tactics. As such, they have surprisingly few of them, leading some analysts to suggest that the Scourge were never expecting mankind to rally and strike back so spectacularly.

The Shedu class is actually a fairly typical monitor, offering the usual characteristics: low speed, high armour, high firepower. It lacks the ability to engage surface targets though, armed with a rare variant of

Oculus weapon technology, designed for engaging targets in higher orbital layers.

The Lamassu is little threat to attackers from without, but rather to invaders below. They are the smallest Scourge ships to carry bulk landers and are thought of as mobile, orbital barracks. During an invasion a Lamassu can drop thousands of troops whenever called upon. In order to support its charges, the Lamassu also features limited orbital bombardment capability, allowing it to soften up any landing zone that does have defences in place. During the Battle for Earth, orbital fire and incoming reinforcements from these otherwise innocuous small ships caught some UCM generals fatally unprepared.

This set contains 3 Scourge Monitors. These small ships are slow moving, and struggle to manoeuvre, but make up for that by targeting between Low and High Orbit without penalty, and having unparalleled armour for that size of ship.

This pack makes three ships, buildable as either Shedu class Monitors or Lamassu class Barges. The Shedu is a typical Monitor, with a slow Thrust and high armour (at least by Scourge standards), it has two uses, both as an offensive craft using its Occulus Beam Crest (2 Attack, 2 Damage and Scald), and as a support ship using its Detector special rule. The Lamassu fills a very unique role, as a slow moving lander. A tiny ship equipped with Bulk Landers, it makes a great surprise for your opponents in the mid-game, as the seemingly innocuous chassis gives way to heavy landing capability.

Contains 3 resin miniatures with parts to assemble two variants, and 3 plastic Dropfleet Commander bases and flight stands.

Resin miniatures supplied unpainted and unassembled. This kit will require cleaning and assembly, and could need some small holes filled.

  • Facing a single Scourge Dreadnought generally means death. These 2000 metre monstrosities prowl the void, hunting prey imperiously. They are one-ship fleets, the mightiest vessels that this hated enemy has to unleash. The Nosferatu class packs vast Oculus banks and terrifying close action weaponry. The Cthulhu’s colossal triple furnace cannon can bisect a battleship. If that wasn’t terrifying enough, both carry swarms of strike craft and have potent stealth systems. By the time an opponent is able to finally plot a firing solution, it’s usually too late.

Introducing the biggest ships that Dropfleet Commander has ever seen. The Scourge Dreadnought is the largest of all the Dreadnoughts, with its mass of tentacles coming in at 225mm from front to back!

This set includes parts to make either the Scourge Nosferatu designation or the Scourge Cthulu Dreadnought (a fitting name!). If a massive ship with a 12 Attack Furnace Triad or 16 Oculus Beams weren't enough, try Full Cloak and Stealth! Ouch.

Rules for Dreadnoughts can be found in Battle for Earth.

Resin miniature supplied unpainted and unassembled with a multi-part plastic base. Note that this is an advanced modelling kit and may need small gaps filling and pieces gently heated and bent to fit.

  • Unlike other races' Destroyers, the Scourge ships operate silently. More often than not, a Scourge Destroyer will not be detected until its too late, sneaking through the void before unleashing their devastating payload.

As a fighting ship, the Succubus has proven to be highly adaptable and capable. It is a troublesome opponent for capital ships and swarms of lighter vessels alike due to its numerous weapons systems. The Incubus is the sister class of the more common Succubus. It carries a more conspicuous armament; a single enlarged furnace cannon, a fearsome weapon capable of cutting to the heart of any adversary. The Revenant is one of the most feared of the Scourge destroyers, and for good reason. The class offers a range of options for dealing death, from conventional Oculus weapons, to powerful close action, to bomber capacity.

This set contains 3 Scourge Destroyers, all able to be built as either Succubus, Incubus, or Revenant classes.

Continuing the Scourge aesthetic, these sleek ships have a squid-like design with varying prows to distinguish their classes. The set even comes with 3 optional Cloaking Crests, providing great protection until they're in the thick of battle. The Succubus is armed with a deadly duo of Oculus Beams, capable of destroying a Frigate in a single barrage. Meanwhile the Incubus has a tiny Burnthrough Furnace Blaster, although it's no less deadly than its larger cousins! Meanwhile the Revenant goes for a more mixed approach, with a devastating Close Action Plasma Storm and a fairly hefty Launch of 2.

Contains 3 resin miniatures and plastic Dropfleet Commander bases and flight stands.

Resin miniatures supplied unpainted and unassembled. This kit will require cleaning and assembly, and could need some small holes filled. Other ships and gaming mats are for scale purposes only.

  • The Havana is the earliest type of destroyer currently in service with the UCMF, having first seen combat with the Shaltari in 2596. Its design stems from older and largely outmoded naval strategies revolving around the use of torpedoes as primary weapons.

The Vancouver class emerged from the UCMF Naval Design Bureau in the late 2640s in response to the obvious need for more cost effective fighter and bomber support than the well armed Seattle class offered.

The Kiev is an interesting vessel, in that it features a pair of super-heavy UF-9000 series mass drivers in a fixed position. These impressive weapons are heavier gauge than those mounted in almost any other UCMF warship, save the mighty dreadnoughts. The mission role of Kiev class is to hunt and kill the most heavily armoured enemy vessels with swift brutality. They are unsubtle sledgehammers and the bane of enemy flagships. Many an enemy admiral has met their ignominious deaths at the hands of this smaller adversary since its inception in the 2640s.

This set contains 3 UCM Destroyers, all able to be built as either Havanas, Vancouvers, or Kievs! There are parts to build 3 of each Havanas and Vancovers, or 2 Kievs.

The sleek design of the UCM Destroyers uses the typical fins of the UCM and arranges them in three completely distinct ways for three completely different ships! Fast and surprisingly tough, the Destroyers operate as search-and-destroy vessels, or escort carriers. The Havana's Light Torpedoes provide surprising punch, the Vancouver gives a handy (and cheap) launch vessel, and the Kiev is the UCM's Heavy Destroyer, its UF-9000 Twin Mass Driver the bane of even Battleships!

Contains 2-3 resin miniatures (depending on build) and 3 plastic Dropfleet Commander bases and flight stands.

    THE JOHANNESBURG CLASS BATTLECRUISER

Following the success of the experimental Atlantis program, the Johannesburg class was designed around an entirely new hull created for the specific requirements of battlecruisers. Its primary armament is a pair of huge quad UF-6400 mass driver turrets, a more potent array of this calibre than a Beijing class battleship. It also features launch capacity equivalent to a Seattle class Fleet Carrier. In combination with the speed necessary to keep up with cruisers, it is a superlative and flexible killing machine.

    THE PERTH CLASS BATTLECRUISER

The Perth class dispenses with the largest mass drivers in favour of an enormous Viper super-heavy anti-ship laser, one of the largest weapons ever to be mounted to a UCM vessel. This colossal weapon takes up over half the ship's length. It is devastating if unsubtle when fired and fully capable of neatly slicing a cruiser in two. The Viper's obvious energy signature necessitates use by a skilled captain if enemy retribution is to be eluded. The massive generators and power storage facilities needed to feed this beast of a weapon precludes the launch bays featured in the Johannesburg, although the Perth compensates by doubling the UF-4200 mass driver armament of its sister class.

  • The Santiago class corvette is a small, atmospheric-capable vessel of sub-frigate tonnage. These nimble, fast ships were designed for a single purpose - hunting down enemy atmospheric fleet assets. They are armed with a potent array of air-to-air missiles, utterly lethal to the frigate sized vessels that are its favourite prey. In particular, strike carriers and their precious cargo are prime targets since these strategically vital ships are shielded from the majority of enemy fire while operating in atmosphere.

Santiagos are favoured by the most aggressive captains fresh from Niccolum's Naval Academy. Atmospheric combat is not for the faint of heart as it must be fought only at close range where the small Santiago is always vulnerable to return fire. The uniquely challenging nature of these operations is a fiery crucible from which many budding captains do not return, but those that do are often destined for greatness in the future.

  • PHR destroyers are larger and bulkier than those of other races. Indeed, by UCM reckoning they could almost be classed a light cruiser. The Electra is armed with four heavy calibre mass drivers in two pairs. These massive guns are devastating when unleashed against large vessels, the Electra’s preferred prey. Its sister the Ariadne is laid out in a multi-role configuration more in keeping with typical PHR fleet doctrine. Primarily, it is an early stage planetary assault ship designed to compliment strike carriers.

The blockade runner is a type of ship almost unique to the PHR and a staple feature in their shadowy and mysterious operations. Although based on a destroyer type hull, blockade runners feature reduced armament in favour of expansive and powerful drives, making them abnormally fast. The Jason class is not poorly armed however, featuring as it does a pair of heavy mass drivers and especially advanced anti-atmospheric close action weaponry. The Odysseus is, unusually for the PHR, a very focused and inflexible design. Its only mission profile is high speed and low-observable insertion of bulk infantry formations, supplies and defence batteries to advance targets.

This set contains 3 PHR Destroyers, all able to be built as either Electra, Ariadne, Jason, or Odysseus classes.

With lots of options to choose from, PHR players are spoiled for choice on Destroyers! The ships have that classic PHR look, although with slightly wider backs then their Cruiser cousins, showing that these are fast and up-gunned! The Electra and Jason provide your typical Destroyer roles, The Electra with two sets of Twin Heavy Calibres (bye bye Battleships), and the Jason trading one set for very dangerous Kingfisher Drones. Meanwhile the Ariadne and Odysseus swap their underslung Twin Heavy Calibres for Bulk Landers, which offers a mixed approach, with decent weapons and fantastic drop ability.

Contains 3 resin miniatures and plastic Dropfleet Commander bases and flight stands.

Resin miniatures supplied unpainted and unassembled. This kit will require cleaning and assembly, and could need some small holes filled. Other ships and gaming mats are for scale purposes only.

  • The PHR’s new Harpocrates Lighter takes Post-human mastery of electronic warfare and builds a whole ship around it. It has a single role: to render a target ship deaf, blind and hobbled without firing a shot.

At close range only, its powerful EM field projection panels can be focused to lash an enemy ship so severely that its targeting systems wash out and its core goes into low yield standalone mode lest it collapse, forcing the drives to idle state. The only downside is that the collapse in the target’s warfighting stance makes it difficult to target, necessitating this as a specialist weapon for where preserving precious Republic souls matter more than reducing the enemy to scrap from afar.

This set contains 6 PHR Harpocrates Guerrilla Lighter. With smooth armour and technical EMP plates, it's very obviously PHR!

Cast in a single piece, the model has fine detail and large plates reminiscent of Dropzone's Erebos walker. The Harpocrates does one thing, and one thing very well: shut down enemy ships. Its EM Warfare Suite does no damage, but forces an opponent to go on Silent Running, effectively shutting down its movement and weapons. Ouch!

    THE AGAMEMNON CLASS BATTLECRUISER

The fearsome Agamemnon class battlecruiser features a double-decker, full length mixed mass driver broadside with the potential to lay waste to multiple foes with imperious ease. However, the class lacks any meaningful firepower on the front quarter, making it best employed in the heart of an engagement. This contrasts with the excepted role of battlecruisers in the UCM, where flanking, hunting and avoidance are crucial. PHR battlecruisers seem to be laid out to be an efficient broadside platform, where superior toughness can be expected to get these lethal ships to the heart of any engagement.

    THE PRIAM CLASS BATTLECRUISER

The Agamemnon's sister class, the Priam, is often tasked with destroying large groups of enemy light vessels and merchant shipping, making its role closer to that of traditional battlecruisers. It is equipped with an extensive light calibre broadside and cavernous launch bays the equal of a Bellerophon heavy carrier. Since lighter ships with poor point defence are particularly vulnerable to bombers, this supports the ship's primary role. In addition, the ability to throw up an enormous swarm of fighters allows Priam to protect friendly ships, often the lighter escorts that may accompany it on interdiction missions behind enemy lines.

  • A full year before the Scourge invasion, an alien artifact known as the White Sphere crashed to Earth. An artifical intelligence beyond any witnessed before, it quickly took over control of the planet’s

communications, sending out a message to every person. It warned of a calamity from space, and encouraged humanity to flee, giving themselves to the White Sphere in exchange for technology they could only dream of, technology enough to save them.

Literal days before the alien Scourge devastated humankind, those who heeded the White Sphere’s warning left Earth. Firing on their pusuers, the Abandonists jumped away into unknown space, following the AI’s directions. This act of rebellion forever tarnished them among those who remained.

150 years after their retreat, the Abandonists returned, changed beyond measure. Now known as the Post-Human Republic, they appeared with vastly superior technology, and a symbiotic relationship with their machines, protected in thick gleaming armour, and toting massive broadsides on their fleet.

This box contains an entire PHR Battlefleet, with (almost) everything you’ll need to raise a fleet for your games of Dropfleet Commander. This set contains a mix of plastic and resin ships, which provide a solid core for your fleet and some more advanced ships to fill particular roles.

The plastic Cruisers and Frigates can be assembled in dozens of ways, each with a very specific place in the fleet. From the broadsides and Twin Supernova Lasers of the Hector Heavy Cruisers, all the way down to the Advanced EDM Suites of the Calypso Frigates.

  • The general performance profile of a typical defence monitors fits the PHR well – that of high armour and low speed.

The Castor, much like its Colonial opposite number - the Istanbul - features heavy calibre mass drivers, able to lay down considerable cross-orbital defensive fire. Its vertical hull is quite unusual for a PHR ship, and allows these weapons to pivot around a central arc.

Although based on the Castor class monitor’s superstructure, the Pollux is officially classified as an escort frigate, due to its mission profile. This class was designed exclusively for close-protection missions around bulky, high value targets, where its low speed would still be sufficient to keep up. The Pollux excels at this mission through extensive point-defence arrays – enough to make it extremely difficult for any strike craft or close action attacks to get through.

This set contains 3 PHR Monitors. These small ships are slow moving, and struggle to manoeuvre, but make up for that by targeting between Low and High Orbit without penalty, and having unparalleled armour for that size of ship.

One lone Scourge is an unformidable opponent, existing as a mass of tar-like black tendrils, barely able to lift its own weight. However, they insert themselves into living creatures and their grown vehicles alike, their limbs stretching out to cover every nerve, fully taking control of their host.

The Scourge fleet is made up of such creatures, part living, and part machine. Yet these massive starships are too big for a single creature to control alone; the walls run thick with the sinewy nervous systems, interlocking and working together.
