  • The Stalking Portals are an incredibly cheap unit for the Cult. Their main attack is a low AV 3 and only Strength 1, but even Strength 1 can take down a mighty Titan with some hard work and luck.

But the reality is that you don't take Stalking Portals in your Company for their Draw In attack. You take them for Sentient Portals. They obviously have synergy with Adeodatos, giving him more hubs to attack from. They also allow units to teleport through them either to or from Portals.

A unit of Stalking Portals, which includes the unit card and 6 models comprised of 3 different sculpts. They come on 40mm plug bases, which slot into the two 100mm Fireteam bases provided.

  • The Royal Rifle Corps are the most expensive squad in the King's Empire.

Their CLLE Rifles have a great range and Strength, and a trigger that can make it easier for each other action to hit. This is the core of their place on the battlefield, but they have other options to boot.

"Together, Now!" gives them a Reinforcement and an Inspired Token, helping them stay effective on the battlefield. Conversely, they can use Noble Procession to draw cards (and possibly give Inspired Tokens), ensuring others are more effective in the fight.

  • The Dreadnought is one of Abyssinia's machines of war. Manned by multiple gunners, the Dreadnought can wade into the battle and lay down an impressive amount of gunfire.

The Crushing Legs ability gives the Dreadnought an attack by simply moving, giving the chance to crush Squads under its feet. The Mounted Gatling Guns attack is the Dreadnought's main attack, coming in at a solid Strength 3. The Action gives out a Pinned Token, slowing the enemy down and cutting off their reinforcements. The Mask Trigger, Nimble, on the shot makes the Dreadnought have a good potential speed, allowing it to capitalize on its Crushing Legs.

This Abyssinia Titan Box includes the Dreadnought unit card, the Titan Assets, and 1 model on a 120mm plug base.

  • The Other Side uses a standard deck of cards, known as a Fate Deck, in order to resolve conflict. It’s as simple as flipping a card, adding your stat, and comparing it to a target number.

The Fate Deck gives players control over their Companies in the form of the Control Hand. Cards in your Control Hand can be used to replace flipped cards, ensuring that the actions you want to succeed won’t fail at a critical moment. Say farewell to all those rolled 1s!

  • The Goryshche is a massive, twisted creature. Like the hydra, it spouts many heads and has the ability to quickly replace that which it has lost. This means that while the Goryshche is easier to hurt than most Titans, it is also better able to withstand prolonged assault.

Its Hungry Maw action is a potent attack at Strength 4, and it puts a great amount of fear into the enemy. It can also be used, with the Swallow Whole trigger, to deal a great amount of damage to an enemy Champion — particularly a Commander. This is not the sort of creature you want to have as your enemy.

Includes the Goryshche unit card, the Titan Assets, and 1 model on a 120mm plug base.

  • A King's Hand is a massive Titan built for war by combining the knowledge of the Guild with British manufacturing.

Taking advantage of high functioning parts, the King's Hand is able to have advanced Targeting Parameters. This makes sure it hits its target when firing into an engagement.

It adds to this its Superheavy Gatling Gun. Though this gun's Strength is only a 2, its impressive AV 6 and 18" range means that many shots will connect. The Powerful Shot Trigger also increases the gun's Strength more quickly than the standard Margin 5 that other attacks need.

  • The Guild's iron-fisted grip on the Soulstone trade has worn Earth nations raw, creating a powder keg of alliances and enemies. Just when a world war seemed ready to erupt, horrendous creatures from a plane known as Malifaux tore their way through reality. The true battle of survival has begun.

The Other Side is a game about allegiances doing battle across the Earth in a fight for supremacy and survival. Using 32mm miniatures, players will control squads of troops, powerful commanders and massive Titans as they attempt to defeat their foes and seize control of the Earth. Conflict is resolved through the use of a deck of cards, allowing players more control over their own destinies. The Other Side shares a world with Malifaux, but the games are not compatible.

The Gibbering Hordes are denizens of old Malifaux, before the fall of the Tyrants. In the resulting war, they chose the wrong side and were cast into the ocean. Over the centuries, their forms twisted to accommodate their new lives, and as the years passed they began to forget... but numerous portals opening in the ocean dumped the Hordes onto Earth, shocking the creatures into a hunger-filled frenzy.

The Gibbering Hordes are amphibious creatures that dwell in many of Malifaux's waterways and oceans. Much of their intelligence has been forgotten in favour of sharp animal instinct and a desire to survive. Led by their more aware kin, the Hordes have decided to make the Earth their new home. A Gibbering Hordes army is focused on melee, using their seemingly infinite numbers to conquer their enemies.

  • The Other Side is a streamlined game intended to be easy to pick up and learn while still providing an exciting, tactical experience for players.

The epic battles taking place across the Earth are played out on a 4 x 6 table with scattered, light terrain. Alternating activations keep you involved in the action every step of the way, while a five turn game keeps the fighting quick and bloody. The average game lasts about two hours.

The Other Side is won and lost by how well your troops complete their mission, creating an ebb and flow to the battle as objectives are fiercely contested throughout the entire game.

Includes world background information, seven stories, and the game rules.

  • I can't say that you'll ever be disappointed by an Ability called Shatter Reality. And, frankly, if you're playing the Cult, what this Ability does is insane. An extra Portal Marker means there is even less on the table outside of your tentacley grasp.

Arcane Barrage is a potent magical attack with the possibility to punish an enemy who tries to defend against your Portals. And what Cult Commander would be complete without even more movement tricks?

When on Glory, Adeodatos' Arcane Barrage gets a trigger to let it attack twice, but his most crushing change comes from the addition of Devouring Vortex. If an enemy is near one of his Portals, Adeodatos can hit them with a massive Strength 6 hit (at a ludicrous AV 9) and then force them through the Portal. Suffice it to say, it is devastating.

    Contents:

    • Adeodatos, a Cult of the Burning Man Commander
    • 2 Squads of Warped (9 models, 5 sculpts for each)
    • Squad of Stalking Portals (6 models, 3 Sculpts for each)
    • All unit cards
    • Allegiance card
    • Cult of the Burning Man generic, and Adeodatos specific, Assets (Fate Deck, Measuring tape, Cardboard tactics tokens)

  • The Stormsiren is one of the Gibbering Hordes' Commanders. She brings the average of 25 Scrip to the game, which she can use to hire the units she needs to defeat her foes.

She is one of the only Commanders with a Tactics value of 3. This gives her a few more options than other Commanders. She also creates an additional Tide Pool piece at the start of the game, giving Companies that contain her even more battlefield control.

Her Grasping Tentacles attack has a good Strength, but if she manages to get you in water that's where it really shines. This is made easier for her with the use of Siren's Call, which lets her move an enemy Fireteam. Since Commanders get a free Morale Action, she can use Siren's Call and still make an attack that turn.

When the Stormsiren flips to Glory, she really begins to shine... she turns all Tide Pools into Hazardous Terrain and has the ability to create more as an Action, giving her massive control over enemy movements. What's more, her Siren's call becomes even more potent, allowing her to move entire enemy units and move them further than before.

    Contents:

    • Stormsiren, a Gibbering Hordes Commander
    • 2 Squads of Striped Skulkers (9 models, 5 sculpts for each)
    • Squad of Karkinoi (9 models, 5 Sculpts for each)
