Since the Rent in the Sky opened and changed the world forever, Venice has seen an upswing in its economy. Entire districts are getting rebuilt, with new parts of the lagoon dredged up almost weekly.

However, there are plenty of areas of Venice that are still living in poverty. While the Church of Dagon helps who it can, the ruling classes care little for the squalor of the poorest in Venice. Their houses are still in disrepair, with plaster crumbling and bricks falling out.

Still, no amount of disrepair will stop the roving gangs from climbing and leaping across the buildings of Venice, trying to out-maneuver their opponents.

Those canals seem to be constantly shifting as the city expands. What was water one day may be dredged up the next. What was a canal last week may now just be a pile of rubble. And that is before the strange, otherworldly phenoma that plague the city. Creatures live beneath the waves, magic abounds, and gangs roam the streets at night, vying for their own patch to call home.

With the constant skirmishes, allegiances change daily, with entire districts passing control between parties at a moment’s notice. It’s an interesting time to live in Venice, provided you don’t fall in with the wrong people.

This pack contains 9 beautifully detailed 12" x 12" card gaming tiles. Printed on heavy card they are a great gaming surface to fight through in your games of Carnevale.

One side is lavish with detail of canals, with plenty of plaza sections to complement the sturgid water.

On the back you’ll find entire water tiles, each uniquely detailed. These are perfect for making wider canals, or for using in conjunction with our MDF Tabletop Scenics plaza tiles to create a fully three-dimensional gaming board.

Transparent gel, perfect for the reproduction of moving shallow waters, or shaping waves and peaks. When used in combination with Still Water and applied as a final layer, it ads volume and natural movement to the water surface. The gel can be tinted with Model Air or Game Air. Foam can be used for the crest of waves. Transparent Water dries to a transparent and glossy finish in about 24 hours, depending on the thickness of the application. Clean painting tools with water.

Vallejo Acrylic Water Texture. 200 milliliter bottle with cap. A glass clear liquid which levels itself, even on irregular surfaces, to reproduce the effect of transparent water. Apply in several fine layers of no more than 3mm thickness to prevent cracks or bubbles in the drying process. Can be colored with Model Air or Game Air. When poured on a non porous surface (glass or polyester) the dried layer can be peeled off and cut to measure for brooks or cascades.
