  • Several times larger than their more common cousins the Warstriders, Siegestriders were dubbed for their ability to clamber over or through the tallest defences. The most well-known forms are quadruped, although more accurately they have two legs and two arms.

The Lion variant carries possibly the most unusual weapon seen on the battlefields of the 27th century: The Transmatter Beam. It actually has two functions, the first being non-offensive. It can make use of the teleportation web technology built into friendly constructs to de-materialise and re-materialize these units anywhere in line of sight, even if they are far from a gate. The second, weaponised function is the result of firing such a beam at something without tapping into teleport web technology.

The Tiger carries a pair of Disintegrators - battlefield versions of the type of armament common on Shaltari starships. These weapons transfer huge amounts of energy to a very small area in crackling, split-second bursts. This causes devastating atomic effects, releasing further energies into the target. The appearance is of an explosive detonation that leaves an atomised, gaping hole behind.

Contains 1 multi-part resin miniature with parts to assemble as either a Lion Siegestrider or Tiger Siegestrider

Resin miniatures supplied unpainted and unassembled. This kit will require cleaning and assembly, and could need some small holes filled. Any miniatures or scenery are shown for scale only and not included.

Please note that Behemoths are massive kits, and advanced modelling projects. Extra care, attention, and hobby skills will be required to assemble and paint them. Because of that, this kit it is only recommended for advanced modellers. Some parts will need heating and bending to fit perfectly straight and slight gaps might need filling.

  • Since mankind’s first contact with the Shaltari, the Gaia has been the alien’s closest equivalent to a heavy dropship, enabling bulk teleportation of large ground units. However, the Gaia’s lack of conventional armament has always restricted its use to pre-cleared dropsites. Around a year into the

Earth campaign, a new variant has appeared. Designated ‘Adamah’.

This formidable aircraft trades some transport capacity for a pair of front-mounted gravity cannons. These amplify the force of gravity to crush tanks like empty drinks cans, pulping their crews in the process. With formidable anti-armour weaponry, the Adamah can support its own landings, making it a singular threat that can operate far from support.

Although large, these have been observed operating alone in a vanguard/probing role, as well as in small-scale, surgical strikes. Commanders on the ground are learning to fear single-blip Shaltari contacts, as one Adamah can sweep a landing zone clear of picket units, then teleport in endless waves of lethal warstriders, gravtanks and support vehicles.

Contains 1 multi-part resin miniature with parts to assemble one Adamah Gungate.

  • The Bobcat uses a leg layout identical to the walker variants seen in the Aaru theatre, though its use is much more widespread. Seen across multiple battlefronts, the Aaru leg design makes it a much more stable firing platform for its large weapon arrays.

Unlike the alternate versions of the Warstriders, the Bobcat is designed to be a bulwark of heavy firepower. It can bring excellent Anti-Air with the Ion Cannon array, the high volume of shots and decent energy means that arial combatants must steer clear.

Alternatively they can bring the Twin Gravity Cannon, a high energy anti-tank gun with devastator, meaning it can cripple the largest of vehicles.

  • The Widow is a peculiar walker, it is lightly armed and armoured but capable of scaling buildings similarly to the Tarantula. Its mirror panels provide it with a modicum of protection, making it appear where it is not and obfuscate where it is. Bradyon Carbines are light weapons designed to go against infantry and light vehicles, but weight of fire can overwhelm even heavily armoured vehicles.

An Armour Battlegroup is a staple in games of Dropzone Commander, and is a required choice in every army. This set contains all compulsory choices in the Armour

Battlegroup, with Auxiliary units for support. This box is ideal for a new player - if you have a Starter Army, expand your force with this box.

The 2 Widow Battlewalkers scramble over the battlefield, using their Bradyon Carbines to crack open any armour that crosses their path. Alternately they can be built as Recluse Mirrostriders and defend allied units nearby. A Jaguar and Leopard Warstrider provide versatile firepower. The Dreamsnare Shieldstrdier protects its allies with its Shield Boosting Relay. the 2 Zion Gates give a stable position where units can teleport in and out of the battle.

  • Shaltari Behemoths are an engineering enigma, quite unlike anything the other races are capable of constructing. These constructs are comprised of multiple articulated segments, numerous legs, and no small amount of anti-gravity technology. Reserved for the most critical of battles, Shaltari Dragons have been seen more and more often during the Battle for Earth where their devastating alien firepower has been brought to bear.

The Shaltari Behemoth is a truly massive kit. Able to be built as either an Earth Dragon or a Celestial Dragon, equipped with some of the largest and most technologically advanced weaponry ever seen. Each weapon dwarfs that of any other Shaltari ground unit, even surpassing some units in their entirety.

The Earth Dragon is designed to cause devastation over a wide area to armour and infantry alike. Its Super Disruption Cannon acts as both an area denial and Behemoth killing weapon, while its Bio-Atomiser Fangs can melt infantry or focus its fire to take out armoured vehicles. Six Gauss Destroyers round off this loadout, with powerful anti-tank firepower.

Celestial Dragons are the more focused of the two variants. A Particle Triad offers precise, high energy damage while a pair of Laser Fangs are perfect for taking out lighter vehicles. Like the Earth Dragon, the Celestial Dragon is equipped with six Gauss Destroyers.

Contains 1 multi-part resin miniature with parts to assemble as either a Celestial Dragon or Earth Dragon.

Resin miniatures supplied unpainted and unassembled. This kit will require cleaning and assembly, and could need some small holes filled. Any miniatures or scenery are shown for scale only and not included.

  • Foregoing conventional weaponry, the Atlatl mounts a teleport beamer. This disturbing variation of Shaltari teleportation tech is actually a cruder 'brute force' incarnation, as it can be used on units unequipped for teleport - which means enemies are fair game. The Arrowhead on the other hand is a powerful - if limited - AA unit. Generating a crackling energy storm - a weaponised version of the discharge caused by active Gates - charged with potential to latch onto passing aircraft. When employed in numbers, the storm becomes a raging cyclone which can liquidise any aircraft armour with laughable ease.

Both Atlatls and Arrowheads are Standard choices for Shaltari armies, and both offer something a little unusual. The Atlatl is the height of Shaltnanigans, offering the choice of teleporting friendly units great distances or turning their attention to foes and forcing them to move into the least opportune places. Arrowheads are a rare dedicated AA Standard choice, perfect for area denial. While their weapons can only Reaction Fire, you also add extra Energy for each one in the squad, making them a major thorn in your opponent's side. Put them in the centre of the board and start laughing!

Contains 3 multi-part resin miniatures with parts to make all as Atlatl or Arrowhead Gravtanks.

  • Shaltari are fast. Really fast. If their Gate technology for teleporting units around the battlefield wasn't fast enough, their Gravtanks manage a dizzying speed when on the ground. With technology to improve their speed even further, the bizarre weaponry these aliens bring to bear can be used in the most opportune situations.

An Armour Battlegroup is a staple in games of Dropzone Commander, and is a required choice in every army. This set contains all compulsory choices in the Armour

3 Atlatl Gravtanks can teleport friends and foe alike around the board, or build them as Arrowhead Gravtanks for extreme anti-air activity, albeit at limited range. A Puma Sonic Warstrider provides heavy firepower, and the Alligator helps your Gravtanks move faster. An Eden Gate teleports your vehicles into battle with speed.

  • Although less well armoured than Warstriders of equivalent size, the Caiman's agility and range can be used to deadly effect by the more subtle of Shaltari Warchiefs, who prefer to annihilate the enemy before having to accept return fire.

A Caiman Heavy Gravtank is the answer to "what if Tomahawk, but bigger?". Armed with either a Gauss Triad or Heavy Microwave Cannon, the Caiman follows the Shaltari adage of "be prepared for literally everything". The Gauss Triad packs the power of 3 Tomahawks, while the Heavy Microwave Cannon ignores all Body and Soft Cover when finding its targets, offering little in the way of defence.

  • While originally a fairly rare sight on the battlefield, the Crocodile has become much more common since the Battle For Earth. The Heavy Gravtank chassis also is home to the much stranger Alligator Gravcharger, which - through some unknown technology - is able to overcharge nearby anti-grav vehicles to even faster speeds, allowing the Shaltari to always dictate the direction of battle.

The Crocodile doesn't care who you are or what vehicle you're in: it is going to kill you. Its Particle Cannon ignores all Evasion and Passive Countermeasures, meaning there's very little you can do to protect yourself. Just hope for good luck or you'll be a crater. The kit can also be used to build an Alligator Gravcharger. Although completely unarmed, this support unit increases the Move speed and Move & Fire distance of friendly units in a wide area, giving you even more options for annoying your opponents.

  • The Firedrake is a fearsome gunship. Its exotic Spatial Disruption Cannon projects a region of unstable dimensionality ahead of the muzzle, inducing contortion and warping effects on anything caught in the maelstrom. The Frostdrake is a modified command variant of the Firedrake, dispensing with gate capacity in favour of an underslung Foe Crusher Cannon. This monster amplifies gravity at the point of impact, compacting heavy targets to destruction under their own mass.

The Firedrake Heavy Assault gate is a fantastic addition to an army. The Firedrake, in addition to being a gate, also bolsteres an area of effect Disruption Cannon which excels the closer it is to its target. Alternatively the Frostdrake Command Ship is a brutal killer. It features the Foe Crusher Cannon with the Devastor 3 against Tanks & Walkers; as well as Devastator 4 against Large units. Both Aircraft host some impressive Counter Measures making them tough units to take down.

Synonymous with Shaltari, the Jaguar is the epitome of walker design. Scuttling on three legs (it's practical, honest), this massive unit is the equal of three main battle tanks. Armed with Twin Ion Cannons on top, it will be extremely annoying to enemy aircraft. The sides can be armed with either Twin Gauss Cannons for armour piercing abilities, or Twin Heavy Bio-Atomisers to deal with entrenched infantry.

Shaltari commanders are warlike beyond reproach and although drawing attention to the presence of a leader is often deadly, the Shaltari's martial honour precludes such tactics, displaying their arrival proudly.

The Lynx Chiefstrider is what you'd want to march to war into. It's seriously pimped out. It has a dazzling hat that will attract the attention of any suitor, although will also help through bizarre magic-science to predict and direct the flow of battle. • Ronin are the frontline assault troops of the Shaltari. Their primary role is to strike first and from unexpected places. The pilots live for the joy of battle, eschewing larger walkers or more nimble skimmer vehicles to stride through the warzone in a heavy warsuit.

The Ronin is one of the most formidable infantry units in the game. Able to go toe-to-toe with most vehicles, and heavy enough to shrug off a lot of damage from infantry too. Their Gauss Carbines give very strong anti-tank firepower, but they can instead replace them with Bio-Atomisers and Energy Blades, turning them into a pre-eminent close quarters unit that can clear out a room in no time.

These diminutive aircraft are nonetheless incredibly useful. Swifter and better protected than most other faction's light ships, the Thunderbird benefits from the classic Shaltari combo of high Evasion and a Passive save. Armed with either Twin Disintegrators or a Short Barrel Gauss Cannon, you have the choice desperately short-ranged light vehicle killing (with Penetrative so you can still deal with heavy targets), or slightly longer-ranged anti-tank viciousness.

  • Spires can be seen wherever Shaltari forces deploy. The towering edifices are taller than many buildings, but the view isn't the most distinct feature. The Totem Shieldspire creates an energy shield around itself and can project a further shield to protect nearby structures. Meanwhile the Obelisk Ionspire is often found teleported directly into the heat of the battle, firing up its Ion Storm to bring down anything that gets close with arcing lightning.

Both strange units, the Obelisk Ionspire and Totem Shieldspire are islands in the ever-flowing ocean of the Shaltari battleplan. Unusually immobile, it's best to drop them down in a location that might not be useful this round, but will be in the rest of the game. The Totem can protect all Shaltari within quite a wide range, making them more survivable than ever. Meanwhile the Obelisk is best used aggressively, dropping down to cause significant area denial early in the game.

  • The Dreamsnare is a specialist Warstrider variant which carries an energy shield boosting relay device, improving the effectiveness of passive countermeasures on all nearby Shaltari units. This makes it an excellent support unit for the nucleus of any Shaltari Warhost. Tactically adept Shaltari Warchiefs can use modest numbers of Dreamsnares to maximum effect by rapidly relocating them to flashpoints where the fighting is fiercest.

The Leopard uses Shaltari Microwave technology (amplified many times over by the fearsome power output of a warstrider) and focuses it through hardened prismatic beam generators. In effect, this creates a focused torrent of hyper-agitated molecules; a beam of molten air which immolates anything it touches with ease.

Both vehicles are armed with the devastating Dragon Cannon, which can fire independently against infantry, microwaving them behind even the thickest wall. Alternatively they can concentrate their weapons to target heavy vehicles, making a much stronger direct beam.

Warstriders are a common sight in a Shaltari army, and for good reason! With very high armour (we're talking Shaltari here remember) and a massive 4 Damage Points, they're very tough to take down - even before you consider the standard 5+ Passive Countermeasures save. Both the Dreamsnare and Leopard have 2 Dragon Cannons, ignoring both Body and Soft cover, which becomes deadly for infantry on the edges of Garrisons. They have an Alt-fire mode which trades the Cover rule for a deadly Energy 12, meaning no one is safe from a Warstrider!

The Dreamsnare is a supporting unit, without a primary offensive armament. Instead it houses a Shield Boosting Relay, which increases friendly Passive saves by 1 (so a 5+ becomes a 4+) on units within 6". A few Dreamsnares in an army, combined with careful Gate redeployment means almost every unit can benefit from this awesome ability, and make the Dreamsnare a prime target for your opponent (which means the rest of your army remains unscathed).

The Leopard is armed not only with the Dragon Cannons (did I mention that they have 12 shots each? NICE), but also with the Thermal Lance. With Energy 12 and 2 shots on a 2+ Accuracy, say goodbye to enemy tanks! Nice and straightforward, the Leopard brings the hurt.

Contains 1 resin miniature with the choice of weapons to make a Dreamsnare or a Leopard. These miniatures are highly detailed, approximately 65mm tall.

  • With the promise of eternal life if not killed first, the ancient Shaltari can end up fearing death more than any other race. The more times a consciousness is transferred, the more wary a Shaltari can become, which is both a good and a bad thing for a commander. Increased knowledge of tactics and aversion to sacrificing life is a definite positive, but lack of impetus can lead to stagnated battleplans.

Very rarely a younger Shaltari will climb quickly through the ranks, their foolhardiness paying off and shaking up tactics. Shaltari Firstborns that achieve the command of an army will frequently want to take the fight to the enemy, and the Daimyo battlesuit is a chassis that aids those plans.

A personal suit larger than most warsuits but not as large as a Ronin, the Daimyo can accompany troops in building clearing. With a bodyguard of warsuits, the three are armed with Web Projectors which coat their target in a temporary teleport web and produce a short-ranged teleport "shunt", often used for ejecting enemy troops from buildings to make them vulnerable to anti-infantry fire.

While quick to get into battle, a young Shaltari commander is not reckless, and the Daimyo's bodyguards use nanobot technology to construct a personal Gate, able to teleport away at a moment's notice, taking any retinue with them. The Gate isn't powerful enough for much more though, and will disintegrate after use or if a foolhardy Brave tries to bring larger objects through.

The Daimyo Battlesuit is a very different Commander choice for Shaltari players. While usually focused on keeping their Commanders as safe as possible in heavier chassis like the Coyote or Frostdrake, the Daimyo provides a lightning fast, up close and personal sort of command choice, perfect for smaller games.

And this is one unit that will prove to be the annoyance of all your opponents! With the ability to teleport enemy squads outside of the Garrison they're in, the Daimyo will be a real thorn in the side of enemy infantry. But before they can retaliate, the Daimyo can simply slip into a Gate and teleport away. Make sure you have lots of Haven Terragates to help it re-emerge and pull the same stunt next round too!

The Daimyo is accompanied by two units of Firstborns, which the commander can join at the start of the game. This is one close combat squad your opponents won't want to mess with!

Contains one multi-part resin Daimyo and two multi-part resin Firstborn units. All units come with plastic bases.
