When Old Dr McDermont had a cloning machine, he made a big mistake. By combining all the best aspects of the Jackson chameleon and the American alligator, he created one of the worst creatures to ever tear a Raider in half. Thankfully, he didn’t live long enough to see his voraciously hungry children break out of their home and out into the big wide world, sadly, because they ate him. Circle of life, I suppose.

Mosquitos were always a threat to humanity, but following the Great War, the mosquitos in the Massachusetts swamps mutated into Bloodbugs the size of a dog, with a viciousness born of blood hunger. Stingwings are giant, mutated flies, born of the Great War. They are distant cousins to the modern scorpionfly, but much larger, with a vicious sting in their tail. They are relatively fragile, but tend to travel in swarms which can be more than a match for even well armed parties. These beasts are even deadlier when defending their nests, when they exhibit a terrifying level of ferocity.

The Commonwealth wave of miniatures and rules expansion for Fallout: Wasteland Warfare has arrived! Brahmin are large, mutated, two-headed cattle with giant udders. This hardy and versatile species form an important part of the post-nuclear economy, providing milk, leather, meat, and bones, while also requiring little sustenance or care. These animals respond furiously when their young are threatened, but are otherwise generally docile.

A "normal" deathclaw is among the deadliest predators found in the Commonwealth. Even more dangerous still, are the Matriarchs, the largest and most powerful adult females who defend their territory against all incursions with a swift and brutal response. The Yao Guai are monstrous, mutated descendants of black bears. These beasts have razor sharp claws, massive teeth, and a predilection for violence. These gigantic creatures can soak up far more punishment than one would expect, and can rip a man in half in seconds. The Yao Guai set includes a standard and irradiated version of these fearsome beasts.

Most colonies in nature have a central queen figure, something that creates new members and must be protected at all costs. The mutated mirelurks are no different – except their queen needs little protection from the colony. Mirelurk queens are towering monstrosities. They drag themselves from their nests when the colony is under serious threat, huge dripping hulks made of pincers, claws and teeth. They dwarf even Super Mutant Behemoths, and are easily their equal in ferocity and speed. Experience has shown that taking down a mirelurk queen requires a small army or very highly skilled individuals. This is not just because of their size and physical power, but also because of the multiple tricks they have in store for the unwary. Oozing spouts allow them to spit and spray plums of caustic acid over a large area, eating into armor and liquifying exposed flesh. On top of this mirelurk queens can rapidly gestate and birth wave upon wave of mirelurk hatchings. While they take some time to grow into full adult mirelurks, even as newly hatched swarms they are dangerous, rapidly overpowering the foe while their mother advances to feed.
