The War Rig is an enormously powerful manned mechanical unit designed for prolonged frontal combat. It has massive damage and area control capabilities. It is a devastating sight on the battlefield. “A mobile fortress that redefines the concept of a defensive line. When it appears, the enemy knows that they will pay a bloody price for every inch of ground.”

They are the basic unit of the Hegemony of Embersig. A defensive unit, capable of withstanding the onslaught of very aggressive enemies such as the Northern Tribes.

Agile, determined and with an overwhelming presence, this unit not only acts, it also transforms the battlefield in its path. Its mobility and range of abilities allow it to keep stress at bay and restore the VOL of its allies when they need it most.

What does it offer your army?

• Vital boost for nearby troops, keeping them steady under pressure.
• When riding alongside the fearsome cavalry of the Black Angels, it enhances their ability to break enemy morale at the crucial moment: the charge.

Medium cavalry unit whose function is to flank to help the infantry break the enemy line. What do they bring to your army? They easily stress your enemy when they charge, with the purpose of forcing them to pass a VOL roll to avoid demoralization and flee. Rough terrain does not affect them, so they can attack through it.

It is extremely fragile support, but powerful at tactical level. What does it bring to your army?

• It can lengthen or shorten the duration of the game round.
• Allows the consecutive activation of an allied unit
• Practically ensures that the Embersig Hegemony gets the initiative at the beginning of the game, allowing them to control who deploys first or who starts activating first.

Ansera Noighman, Engineer

Support specialising in improving the performance of your allies, either alone or as part of a unit.

What does she bring to your army?

• Immunity to unarmed and vulnerable states.
• Customised upgrades depending on the unit he joins.
• Can join the Warframe, improving its movement and attack. In addition, she can heal wounds.

Gale Falchion:

This character mainly acts as a bodyguard for other allied characters.

What does she bring to your army?

• Allows a Frostfire Herald to move in co-ordination with her (and vice versa, she can move when the Wizard moves).

Nadezhda Lazard, Champion of Embersig

On the battlefield, Nadezhda (Nadia) is an excellent swordswoman who brings combat skills and command.

Marhael has served under five Hetmans in just four years.Despite his undoubted talent and irrefutable results, no one is able to tolerate this Aide for too long.

On the battlefield Marhael is a mage-warrior who attacks his enemies with his Spectral Sword, which inflicts magic damage, which cannot be easily defended.

Legionnaires with above-average value serve as Bulwarks. Their job is to hold firm, looking directly ahead and decisively at whatever is coming at them. They will maintain their position, with absolute faith that their enemy’s impetus will only serve to cause theirranseur pole-arms to sink up to the hilt, penetrating deep into the hearts of their adversaries.

Their work is especially appreciated by their colleagues, who know that without them their life expectancy would be much shorter.

Lady Télia
----------

This is an Elite Scout unit. She shines when playing her solo, deploying early in battle to eliminate enemy Characters from a distance. Within a unit, she boosts their firepower and improves their effectiveness: an efficient symbiosis where the unit increases its durability on the table and Lady Télia is protected by her companions.

What does she bring to your army?

2 command tokens, an aspect of the game where the Hegemony excels.

Theability to eliminate enemy Characters even when attached to a unit (by default,you cannot specifically attack a Character, only their unit).

Can join Pioneers, increasing their reliability in shooting.

Pioneers
--------

They are a Scout unit capable of taking objectives quickly, protecting them and driving the enemy out of them.

What do they bring to your army?

As Scouts, they can burst into battle at any time and harass a flank or weaken the enemy.

Ranged attack and an skill that allows them to attack the enemy without needing to see them, doing a lot of damage.

They can set explosive traps.

Njord, The Merciless
--------------------

On the battlefield Njord is a lethal warrior leader, who draws strength from every blow to continue attacking the enemy. His tattoos and 4 wounds make him a difficult character to eliminate.

What does he bring to his army?

2 command tokens, very important for the Northern Tribes.

As an Elite, he has a very high damage output. His attack switches ensure that he will do damage almost every time.

His command skill allows him to ignore damage, making him very resilient.

He gains new keywords and upgrades to his attack and defense rolls as he accumulates wounds.

Skin Changers
-------------

A unit with a very good attack that has two possible configurations: an agile one in the form of a Scout that allows it toreach any point on the battlefield, and a tough one with a Wound value of 4 that, along with some Support that improves its defense, makes it a difficult enemy to eliminate. They are Ahlwardt's (Ice Bear) favorite unit.

What do they bring to your army?

With morale 2, any Character that boosts their morale or gives them conquest value helps them become one of the best assault units.
