Fully in the pocket of the ruling class, the City Guard are a force to be reckoned with. Well armed and armoured, there are much worse professions in Venice. If you don’t mind doing some questionable things, the coin is good!

The City Guard are part of the Patricians, and as such you can expect each fighter to outclass their peers. With a long ranged Marksman and two Guard Sentries, you’ll have command over the battlefield. A Heavy Guard will hold the line, while the Seven Years Veteran (the only one to have seen actual warfare) is a bold and inspiring fighter.

Built in various configurations over the years, the Sagittarii is a typical pre-war cutter, if ‘typical’ can even be applied to such a specialist ship. Almost all the ship’s power is consumed by the drives, necessitating the low power N-12 Artillery Cannon. Instead, add a set of launch bays and you have the Baleares, one of the fastest carriers in mankind’s fleets, embodying the concept of the pre-war pocket carrier.

This set contains 3 Resistance Cutters, all able to be built as either Sagittarii or Balaeres variants. There are parts to build 3 ships, of either variant, and with additional rudder pieces, you can assemble them in a variety of ways; both engines and nose can be put vertically or horizontally for more customisation.

The Sagittarii fills the classic Cutter role: annoying the enemy at high speed! The fastest ship in a Resistance fleet, it can bring its N-12 Artillery Cannons to bear frighteningly early, and often without too much support, leaving that for the rest of your ships. Although not very accurate, a squad of three can wreck even a medium Cruiser with one barrage and a bit of luck. Meanwhile the Baleares is a Pocket Carrier, providing Fighter & Bomber support for the rest of your fleet. With the same blistering speed, it can assist ships at a moment's notice - ideal for Resistance who typically have low Point Defence.

No matter how you slice it, PHR are just better than most other things in the galaxy. With thick armour on their vehicles, they are extremely hardy. And when combined with Jetskimmer technology and large aircraft, they can be surprisingly fast. Using shielding tech as well, their forces are difficult to budge, which makes their devastating weaponry even more dangerous.

Pre-war, the Patton was often deployed in favour of the Hannibal in developed areas of the cradle worlds, where the superior speed and simple efficiency of wheels beats the mobility of treads. While less well armoured, the Patton's resilient hull makes it arguably tougher than a modern Sabre tank while being easier to maintain - a common theme of pre-war tech.

The Patton AFV is a sturdy and reliable Standard choice in Resistance armies. Armed with an Autocannon for dealing with light vehicles, its high rate of fire and ability to ignore cover makes it a feared weapon for Scourge and Shaltari players. Alternatively the Patton can be armed with a Liberator Railgun. One of the best railgun variants around, this (admittedly points-heavy) upgrade is able to do crits on even the heaviest target!

The Scourge's battle tactics often rely on shock movements. Indeed, that's how they won the battle against humanity at the very start! Using the fastest engines around, Scourge forces are able to run rings around their opponents - both in the air and hovering a few feet off the ground. With deadly close ranged firepower, their enemies barely have a chance to realise they're there before the Scourge have vaporised their foes.

Shaltari are fast. Really fast. If their Gate technology for teleporting units around the battlefield wasn't fast enough, their Gravtanks manage a dizzying speed when on the ground. With technology to improve their speed even further, the bizarre weaponry these aliens bring to bear can be used in the most opportune situations.

3 Atlatl Gravtanks can teleport friends and foe alike around the board, or build them as Arrowhead Gravtanks for extreme anti-air activity, albeit at limited range. A Puma Sonic Warstrider provides heavy firepower, and the Alligator helps your Gravtanks move faster. An Eden Gate teleports your vehicles into battle with speed.

The Puma may instead be assembled as a Tegu Gatestrider, and the Alligator has parts to instead make a Crocodile Heavy Gravtank.

The Rostani of Diamond Oasis are known for two things: haggling in their bazaar and dominating in the ring! The Rostani Voyager and Thief are both tough opponents. The Tamer provides support, and the Cosmic Cat wrestles in nine dimensions. They even bring their own Magic Carpet and Catswort Burner!

Cat people are here! The Diamond Oasis is full of cats and mummies; it's a weird place. This team - like the rest of Diamond Oasis - rewards careful and considered play.

With three WEIGHT 2 wrestlers, one WEIGHT 3, and a couple of extras, they're a very strange team! The Rostani Voyager and Rostani Thief are your heavy-hitters. One is great at brawling, and one is great at grappling. That's not all though, they both bring unique skills to the ring, from shadowy speed to sharpened claws.

The Rostani Charmer isn't quite the powerhouse of the other two, but her subtle method of fighting certainly plays its role. Able to move enemy wrestlers around with an impelling charm, you can get them wherever you want. She - like the other two - is also a cat, which means she's got 5AP and automatically removes Knockdown counters!

Your WEIGHT 3 is the Cosmic Cat. A pretty kitty that exists outside of spacetime, this colossal cat brings with it all sorts of weird and wonderful gameplay. From teleporting through the ring to slowing down time for your opponents, this feline is a giant support wrestler.

Speaking of support wrestlers, the team also comes with a Catswort Burner and a Magic Carpet. The burner gives bonuses to ATT when nearby, and the Magic Carpet transports your Rostani around the ring. If you're lucky, you can even Rug Burn your opponents.

From far off lands, The Katiator is bringing a new and deadly form of wrestling to the RUMBLESLAM ring! A Rostani gladiator without fear, this cat is a master of brutal fighting forms, adapting his style and always landing on his feet.

The Katiator is what happens when a RUMBLESLAM wrestler spends their whole life training for fierce gladiatorial combat. He's fast, he's tough, and he can do anything!

This Superstar is the real jack-of-all-trades. His stats are all pretty solid, but each round he gets to add 1G dice to either ATT and DEX or to DEF and GRP. That means that depending on who you're fighting, you can tailor your style to best your opponents. With plenty of special abilities and Bleeding on all Brawl attacks, this is one balanced wrestler that has very few downsides! Also his claws are made of GOLD.

The Shiho’s Ashigaru were once the pride of the Jwar Isles and made up a small but significant part of the Imperial armies that the Emperor relished taking into battle. But that was then, and this is now, and right now, the Takashi Ashigaru are considered the best-trained troops, patrolling the Jwar Isles keeping order for the Prefecture. Still, the Shiho’s fighting men have been together since the usurpation, and the loyalty they show each other is matched only by their commitment to the fallen Eagle Clan.

On the table, these Yarimen can move to assist other Ashigaru, meaning any attack on one soldier is potentially an attack facing two or more! Moreover, the enemy will never know the line’s strength and weak points as it constantly moves and changes.

Nobody knows what he did to be punished so, some even say he cut off his own wings, but the fact that he has perfected a technique of throwing his axes at his enemies wings may show he wants others to suffer as he does. Even the most stoic and reserved of Tengu can become enraged at his mere presence. In combat his bargain with Yurei wards away enemy blows whilst punishing opponents for trying to hurt him.

The Shiho have many practitioners of Kyudo, and Misaki is as proficient with a bow as any of her generation.

Misaki has a strong melee profile alongside her Dai Kyu to defend herself when enemies try to engage her. Her Precision Ki Feat works on her Katana and her Dai Kyu so she can deal damage in combat.

Shiho Shota offers death from a distance! Having perfected the martial art of Kyudo that allows an archer to fire their bows with uncanny accuracy, he has become a legend in his own time. He even managed to fire an arrow throw the circular centre of a silvermoon that was thrown high in the air while blindfolded! But Shiho Shota is far more than trick-shots and showing off for the crowd; he has dedicated his entire life to mastering the bow, so much so that it is not an instrument in his hands but an extension of his body and fierce fighting spirit. The years have been hard on Shiho Shota, always hunted and on the run from the Dragon usurper, but such is his resolve; he has never let this wear him down. It has only doubled his will to fight now that the Black Eagle has flown home!

If you wish to run a Shiho warband with a ranged element, Shota is the perfect addition. He can reliably shoot anything. While his ordinary Dai Kyu shots are excellent, his ability to ignore LoS (Line of Sight) while shooting pushes him to the next level! However, the cost of an additional reload marker makes this a complex trade-off. His melee ability is average for Shiho Samurai, but he can benefit from an Enhancement Equipment weapon card. His melee ability is good enough to finish off the enemy models he has already damaged with his bow.

The latest slave of Yurei, having been raised by Kato ‘the puppet master’ now takes on any and all opponents of the Cult. Enemies that fall before his onslaught become the gruesome tools of his trade.

The crabs of the Eastern Sea are proving to be an invaluable ally to the Jung. They swarm across the battlefeild at times merely offering themselves up as a nuisance or distraction. Often this is enough. At other times the swarms will part revealing the larger more dangerous species such as the Fiddler crabs or the Horseshoe crabs. Each has its own purpose and the most accomplished Jung leaders are able to use them to turn defeat into victory.

He is almost as good a shot as he boasts and with his two “ladies” by his side, a threat to even the most nimble monk or heavily armour samurai, making him a legend amongst the Jung. The tale of how he lost his leg a source of much amusement amongst his peers.

The Gaki are cursed, once greedy and conceited men, now damned to lurk in the dark. Constantly driven by the gnawing pain of a hunger that cannot be satisfied no matter to volume of meat this foul Yokai consumes. Those rare peasant who survive the steel like claws and razor sharp teeth talk of a cloak of dense, cold mist enveloping them before the assault

A man of excesses, Gengo was attracted to the Cult to satisfy his more base urges. He finds the sacrifice of others particularly appealing. One shouldn’t underestimate the difficulty in taking such a big man down.

Gok’s fate was sealed before he was even conceived. His harsh upbringing combined with his inability to learn, left him as a ideal recruit for the Cult of Yurei, that and the fact that he is quite formidable. His mutating mass, and he has a lot of it, allows Gok to adapt to best any opponent. The disease ridden, body filled cart he insists on hauling also serves as a grotesque distraction in battle for his opponents.

Harionago is a truly terrifying addition to the ranks of the Cult. An ancient evil that for generations has preyed on unwary travellers across the Jwar Isles, her new found purpose to further the goals of Yurei is a frightening prospect.

Hideaki was always known as a bit of a melancholic soul. He has treated his sea blessing, seen as an honour to the clan, with his usual lack of fervour. He does however long for the day when the process is complete and he has the strength needed to move his shell as he would like. Hideaki quickly loses any resentment for his shell when it helps him avoid danger, and the speed that he can switch between safety and pressing the attack can surprise those that face him.
