  • During battle, communication between a commander and their troops is extremely important. Many great battles have been won and lost because one side was able to more-effectively utilize its resources because of superior communication. Banners have been used for centuries as a communication technique. When the Iron Throne is on the line, every detail matters.

The Targaryen Deluxe Activation Banner set gives commanders an easy way to keep track of which of their units have activated and which are left to go. The set contains 10 premium plastic banners, each attached to a 30mm base. The banners can be placed next to a unit to show that it has activated, or on its unit Stat Card. When the unit starts taking casualties, the banner easily fits into a space on the unit’s movement tray.

  • Wars are fought with money, and in the War of the Five Kings, none of the Great Houses are more financially equipped than the Lannisters. They outfit their troops in the best armor and arm them with the finest steel. But troops still need leaders. Some show their strength on the battlefield, like the Hound, Tyrion, or Lord Tywin. For others, like Maester Pycelle and the High Sparrow, their power is felt in the political arena. But make no mistake, they can influence the outcome of a battle all the same. The Lannister Heroes set for the A Song of Ice and Fire: Tabletop Miniatures Game gives you a powerful advantage in the war for the fate of Westeros. This product is an expansion: A Song of Ice and Fire: Tabletop Miniatures Game core set required to play.

  • House Baratheon's battle doctrine is fairly simple: be strong like iron. They outfit their troops in heavy armor at every level and arm them with the House's signature warhammer. While this heavy kit does slow down troop movements, the tenacity of their defenses can usually see them through. The Baratheon Wardens are the main infantry unit that the House uses, fielding many ranks of these rough and rugged fighters. The Baratheon Wardens unit box for the A Song of Ice and Fire: Tabletop Miniatures Game gives House Baratheon commanders a tough, resilient set of troops for their forces. Clad in plate mail and carrying heavy shields, they have a good Defense Save stat, though all of that does slow them down. Their heavy warhammer attacks can crush the enemy's spirit as much as it can crush their bones. Defending against these pounding attacks can leave enemy troops gasping for air as the strength is sucked from them.

  • There are many mercenary companies in Westeros. Each one must find a way to stand out from the rest. The Bloody Mummers do this via garish outfits and makeup, along with wild antics. But it would be only a fool that would think them as mere clowns on the battlefield. Their outfits are not the sign of a friendly disposition. In fact, it more acts as a warning, as the Bloody Mummers are also known as one of the cruelest mercenary companies. The Bloody Mummers Skirmishers unit box for the A Song of Ice and Fire: Tabletop Miniatures Game brings a dedicated melee unit to commander's armies. Being a Neutral unit, most commanders can pay their price and take them to battle. These colorful jesters are not to be toyed with in combat. Armed with vicious blades, they roll a respectable number of dice in melee. They only get better when attacking an enemy that has not yet activated. Even retaliating against them is dangerous, as their Parry ability will punish those that attack haphazardly.

  • Skinchangers have the rare ability to project their consciousness into nearby creatures, altering their behavior. This can be used simply, perhaps having them perform tricks. But it can also be used in combat. It's bad enough when an enemy unit is advancing on your position. It's worse when that unit is flanked by giant wolves or bears. The Skinchangers unit box for the A Song of Ice and Fire: Tabletop Miniatures Game gives Free Folk commanders a new option for their armies. The Skinchanger Unit Attachment can be placed in any unit, ignoring usual Unit Attachment rules (so they can join a unit with another attachment already in it). When being added, the player can also add their animal unit to the table. When the Skinchanger's unit activates, the accompanying animal can activate immediately afterward, creating perfect "one-two punch" combinations. Just be sure that the two are never further than Long Range from one-another, or the Skinchanger is killed. Either situation will cause the animal to also be destroyed.

  • The warrior ways of the Dothraki might make them appear as simple barbarian savages, screaming into the sky as they charge into battle. And many commanders have underestimated them because of those stereotypes. A Dothraki will spend more time on their horse than they will off of it, and with that experience comes skill that regular training will never achieve. Despite being unarmored, it is still difficult for a trained swordsman to land a significant hit on a mounted Dothraki. The Dothraki Screamers unit box for the A Song of Ice and Fire: Tabletop Miniatures Game gives Targaryen commanders a solid cavalry unit for their forces. These fearsome fighters can charge quickly into battle, dealing out deadly blows. Skilled commanders will use them as a lightning-fast strike force, avoiding getting them into protracted combats, lest their fewer numbers start to catch up with them.

  • The cultists have been painstakingly preparing for this moment for quite some time. An Elder God, a being adrift in a different dimension, has reached out into their minds, giving them the knowledge necessary to awaken it, and bring it into our own world, unleashing its hellish powers on the unsuspecting populace. The Investigators found out about it too late. The final ritual has begun. But with a little luck, the god might just be vulnerable for a moment after being summoned. That’s when they can shoot it in the face.

Cthulhu: Death May Die puts players in charge of Investigators looking to defeat an Elder God that is being summoned to Earth. They are running late, as the summoning ritual is already underway. But if they can collect enough clues to find a weakness, or alter the ritual just enough to cause one, they can blast the god to death before it gets a true foothold in the world. Working together, players will fight cultists, search for answers, and try to keep their already-broken minds from warping even further.

They are a wild card that can be added to any army in the game. Some Heroes, like Roose Bolton and Ramsay Snow, are most at home on the battlefield alongside their men. Some of the most heavily-armored units fielded in Westeros, their heavy twohanded flails make enemy shields all but useless. Their reputation alone can cause enemies to break and run before the battle has begun. The Bolton Blackguards unit box gives commanders a terrifying new unit to employ on the battlefield. Heavily armored, the Blackguards' reputation and looks alone will cause enemies to make a Panic Test whenever they want to attack them in melee. Adding a Bolton Flayer unit attachment to the unit only increases their effectiveness, as they'll restore Wounds each time an enemy fails a Panic Test while engaged with them.
