These enormous battleships seem to rise almost organically from the water, their vast, armoured hulls topped with coal-black gunports and towers, making them look almost like floating volcanoes. Their gundecks are packed with heavy guns, and their crews often comprise a contingent of Corsairs, whose firelocks pick off enemy commanders and elite troops during boarding actions with impunity. Upon the Drake's craggy aftcastles, scorchwings perch, awaiting the call of their master to swoop down and attack the enemy in a fiery conflagration.

The Salamanders possess a small but elite navy, with large, powerful ships. A proud sister of the House of the Long Shadow, Dudioko is an exemplar of the virtues of her house. She is able to hold her own in melee however she is more inclined to retreat in a cloud of smoke, leaving her opponents vulnerable and wary of where she will attack from next. Her smoke bombs can be useful for all in her company and she was not too proud to learn their use from those in the House of the North Star.

Maki is overjoyed at Shiho Hiroto’s return to Jwar and believes it is only a matter of time before there is a change in the Prefecture’s leadership. Maki is well versed in killing and ambush and moving with stealth over and under the land. Her family were soldiers for the Eagle, and she has been raised with them, fighting the guerilla war since she was old enough to hold a knife. Out of sheer necessity, Maki learned to fight with two blades instead of one. This would have been unthinkable in the past, but current circumstances dictate that the Shiho samurai have had to be more flexible in their teachings. While it would still be unthinkable for her to wield the Daisho, her Tachi are a suitable replacement.

Maki offers the same unpredictability as her fellow Ashigaru with her Hold the Line! Ki Feat. Her Unassailable Ki Feat allows her to remain on a flank fending off multiple opponents then using her Sidestep to free herself from being locked down.

The Risen are easy to ignore, slow, brainless and weak. But soldiers across the Jwar Isles are realising you ignore them at your peril. Sheer numbers allow them to swarm opponents; together they can bog a far superior warrior down. It is most disheartening as well as exhausting to strike an opponent the killing blow only to see them rise again. A true tool of Yurei, those that wield The Risen pose a new threat to life in Jwar.

The Jetskimmer-AV program is a test bed for new technologies. The Diana's Molecular Agitator is a directed energy weapon with a twist: multiple units can feed power via the weapon into a single shooter's Collector Vanes, enhancing an already potent destructive potential. Meanwhile the Aurora offers commanders a unique proposition: to grant, enhance or negate a squad's energy shielding. Operating in fast-moving pairs, light protection may be conferred to two squads or focused via a single Aurora's Collector Vanes into a single squad for greater protection.

The Diana Jetskimmer is a Standard choice in a PHR army, offering fast-moving anti-tank capabilities. While not as reliable as a good, old-fashioned Railgun, the Molecular Agitator is greater than the sum of its parts, using multiple vehicles to add together their strength to deal with the toughest foes. The Auroroa Jetskimmer is a Support choice, and gives some much-valued Passive saves. Increasing a unit's Passive is one thing, but stripping away an opponent's is Shaltari levels of mischief.

Spectres are the terror of helpless tank crews who can't hope to out-manoeuvre a tiny skimmer that's as fast as some aircraft. Armed with a formidable Plasma Lance, it is still fully capable of reducing a UCM main battle tank to molten slag while running rings around it. A rarer variant mounts the abnormal Photon Blaster that sends lethal beams silently through solid matter, straight through buildings to damage any target.

The Spectre Skimtank is a Standard choice in a Scourge army, great for players that like glass cannons! While lightly armoured, the Spectre is incredibly fast, and mounts powerful weapons. A Plasma Lance offers higher range than a standard Hunter, albeit at slightly reduced firepower. Alternatively the Photon Blaster allows Spectres to target enemies they can't even see, which goes a long way to protect this otherwise fragile unit.
