Farewell to 'Farewell to Welcome-to-Rathe' ONLINE SEALED (2/12)

Sign-Ups for the Farewell Draft will automatically transfer over to the Farewell Online Sealed if you were unable to attend the draft. You may sign up again for the online sealed even if you attended the draft, but you will only receive one Farewell promo across both events.

For those players who are not able to come out to the in-person Farewell to Welcome-to-Rathe draft, this event will provide another opportunity to play with "Welcome-to-Rathe" unlimited. 

Webcam Sealed "Welcome-to-Rathe" event, with at least 3 (30 min) rounds.

For a $30 entry fee, players will pick up 6 packs of Welcome-to-Rathe unlimited at Valhalla Hobby before the event, and then open them simultaneously over webcam at the beginning of the event. Players will then have 30 minutes to build sealed decks, which they will play with over webcam for between 3 and 6 rounds at the discretion of the players/depending on number of players. 

Players will earn 2-4 packs per win, and 1-2 packs per draw/bye depending on total number of rounds played. Participation promos will be given from our pile of extra promos from previous events after the event, with players choosing the promos they want in order of their standings. Prizes will be held for pickup at Valhalla Hobby.

The Valhalla Hobby Flesh and Blood "Farewell Welcome-to-Rathe" draft will be on January 30th at 12 PM Central Time.

We have a cap of 16 players for the event. If you register online, a seat will be reserved for you until 12:30PM, at which point any walk-in may take your seat.

Celebrate and send Welcome to Rathe off in style at a 'Farewell Welcome to Rathe' draft event. The event will start with two 8-player draft pods with 3 rounds of swiss within each pod. Then two different 8-player draft pods will be formed based on standing after round 3, and 3 more rounds of swiss will be played in these pods. Of all the Battleships upon the seas in the last 50 years the Britannia Class of the Crown has been considered the heaviest. That is until the Empire launched the Kongo Class Heavy Battleship. One of the deadliest warships to ply the seas of the Dystopian Age, the Kongo is crewed by some of the finest sailors in all of Japan. The design of this behemoth was always aimed at making it as armoured as possible while still retaining speed and manoeuvrability as much as the best Japanese naval engineers could manage. Named after a legendary mountain in the Osaka Prefecture, this vessel truly lives up to the name. With thick armour plates and formidable weapons the Kongo class are the pride of the Japanese fleet.

The supporting cruisers that are assigned to Battlefleets alongside the Kongo vary greatly. From the imposing Hokkaido Heavy Cruiser down to the nimble Kanagawa Monitor there is a cruiser variant for every mission. Japanese Cruiser groups are typically accompanied by Chita Submersible Automata. These engineering wonders are equal to the mechanical creations of the Covenant of the Enlightened and are used to protect the fleet from threats beneath the waves as well as assisting in assaults. While the Chita are designed to operate independently for lengthy periods, they lack the endurance of the much larger Kaiju class automata. Ishikawa strike cruisers and Yamaguchi Attack Cruisers are essential in maintaining these escorts far from a drydock, their moon pools enabling repairs and refuelling of the Chita to take place.

The Okinawa and Miyagi Class Cruisers are equipped with limited numbers of reconnaissance aircraft that act as spotters and limited aerial defence. When needs must they can also perform bombing runs on enemy shipping but usually only when supported by other aerial units.

The Japanese favour Kyoto frigates when running their patrols between the far-flung

islands of their homeland. The vessels are ideally suited for this task and for new sailors a year on a Kyoto is their first experience of the proud naval traditions of the Blazing Sun.

The guard variants are instead equipped with arc-shields and electro batons.

The House Mormont Bruisers Unit Box for House Stark in the A Song of Ice and Fire: Tabletop Miniatures Game gives players a rough and tumble melee unit for their forces. They eschew heavy armor and shields in exchange for raw attacking power, enough that their ferocity even shows through when defending. Their light shields are equipped with a punching spike, letting them be on the offensive even when on the defensive. Enemies must be wary of missed attacks when going after the Bruisers.
