Conquest - the Last Argument of Kings is a mass battle wargame produced by Para Bellum Wargames.

Conquest does away with player turns and army deployment. Instead, it focuses its play around the command stack mechanic, where each player determines at the beginning of the round what order his troops are going to be activated in. Coupled with a unique escalation reinforcement mechanic where light, medium and heavy troops each have their roles, the fog of war is a very real thing.

Observing the history of the Hundred Kingdoms and their nobles, it is perhaps no surprise that the vast majority of their houses have strong military traditions. It is not uncommon to see Scions of Conquest leading the tribe’s ritual concerts among the musicians who ride atop the Drum Beast’s back. From this exalted vantage point she can lead the War Chant and direct her spells at the right targets, both enhancing and feeding off the musical effect the frenzied drummers and horn blowers can evoke upon their troops. How they Play: Capitalizing on the Drum Beast's ability to affect W'adrhun Battlecries, the Scion is able to enhance the battlecry nature of their Spellcasting abilities and find a medium through which to empower and amplify them.

Tontorrs are amongst the largest beasts that the W’adrhun have managed to tame. Normally used as beasts of burden and to aid construction, when a tribe ceases raiding and mobilizes for war, the Tontorrs are often in the vanguard. of a Tontorr make it a terrifying foe on the battlefield despite their docile nature. It speaks volumes to the skill and determination of the W’adrhun Speakers that these docile beasts can be such terrifying foes, the sheer size and bulk of these beasts meaning they do not so much fight as simply walk over their foes. How they Play: A colossal beast capable of smashing through even the most disciplined of troops, inflicting untold damage by simply trampling over anyone who is foolish to stand before it. The Tontorr gives a simple choice to any opponents, move or be moved.
