• The twin decks of the Suleiman Fleet Carrier are replete with squadrons of Sabiha strike aircraft. An impressive vessel, the Sultanate values supremacy of the skies that the Suleiman class brings. While her twin hulls make her slower to turn than other vessels of her size, her ability as the flagship in a carrier assault group shows the huge advances the Ottomans are making thanks to heavy investment by the Sublime Porte.

When magnetic impeller advancements were acquired by the Sublime Porte for its navy, it was the Iskandar class that first bore the fruit of the development. Quickly these cruisers have become the mainstay in a highly mobile armada, making excellent use of the engineering to bring glory to the Sultanate.

The enemies of the Ottoman people are right to fear the Sadrazam Heavy Cruiser, should they see one come over the horizon. With firepower comparable to the heavy cruisers of other nations, but the ability to outmanoeuvre almost anything in its class, a seasoned captain will capitalise on this and devastate the enemy.

Pasha Light Cruisers are routinely found at the head of Sultanate battlefleets. A strange tradition has developed among crews, specifically those onboard Pasha’s that have been retrofitted with Particle Beamers. It is seen as a great honour to be the first to scorch an enemy ship, doubly so if it’s a flagship. These races to engagement are seen as reckless by older and more traditional commodores but even they have to admit the bravery of Pasha captains and their crews.

The relatively shallow draft of the Izmir Monitor makes it the perfect defence for estuaries. When not so close to land, it is often paired with a carrier to use any squadrons as spotters. Many enemy submarines have fallen foul of an Izmir working alongside a Suleiman or a Constantinople.

The flight crew of Constantinople Carriers are rightly proud of their assignment. It is said that "the blood of a wingman is thicker than the water of the womb" and that is certainly the case for these pilots. These aerial combatants are like a close-knit family as they know that they can only rely on each other once the fighting starts and don’t let outsiders forget it.

The Mihrimah Flechette Cruiser is armed with a weapon unique to the Sultanate. It can unleash a torrent of Orichalcite Flechettes from its bombards at a target. These light and razor-thin fragments are so sharp they can puncture steel hulls at close quarters, though air resistance prevents them from being effective at longer ranges. While they can certainly cause damage to cruisers, they are deadly against squadrons of smaller ships. A cloud of flechettes can easily envelop multiple vessels and shred through steel and flesh alike.

While the Ferik escort skiffs of the Sultanate are ubiquitous in their battlefleets, they need frequent maintenance to keep their repulsion engines in working order, that’s where the Konya comes in. A bay at the fore of the ship allows a skiff to be loaded in and repairs to be made. Though a commodore knows that a Konya lacks firepower, they never regret having one close by.

An Aydin Supply Cruiser is a welcome sight to other crews. Knowing they won’t run out of vital necessities at a moment's notice is a huge boost for morale and for this reason alone they are constantly on the move, heading from fleet to fleet, only heading ashore to resupply themselves.

Morea Minelayers have become more common as tensions escalate. Sultanate commanders understand that they must keep their holdings around the world at any cost while Order advisors push the fact that anything to advance the greater good is necessary. While the merchant navy of the Sultanate might dislike the sea being mined, they are slowly being fed stories that prove how vital they can be.

  • The Long Hall is the most defensible building in the village. It has held against orcs, wolves, raiders and more eldritch enemies. It even survived a small fire after Belas the Bold tried throwing flaming axes in the hall during one particularly raucous festival. The Lord hands out justice here and all the village's celebrations, as well as funerals, are held within its stout walls.

The commoners of Estun know this place as their refuge in dangerous times; the warriors know this as the place they will die to protect. Please Note: Scenery items are manufactured in Medium Density Fibre Board (MDF). Buildings are supplied pre-painted and some assembly will be required. Assembly instructions can be found online and by scanning the QR printed on the packaging.

  • The Blacksmith of the Estun is one of the most revered men in the village. He may not be a warrior though he could certainly hold his own in a fight. Instead, he is held in such high regard for without him the whole village would fall into disrepair. Everything from nails to horseshoes to swords makes its way out of that glowing forge.

The Church is a place of welcome to all, no matter their faith. It has been this way for all time. The tree carved above the door has come to represent many things through the ages. The World Tree that connects the realms, the Sun God's influence on the earth below, even the Tree of Woe upon which the God-son was crucified.

No village can stand for long without trade and Estun is no exception. The Market Stalls are the vibrant hub of the village, with exchanges for goods and services happening almost constantly. Just as important here is the trade for information, stories diffusing from here as quickly as the smell of preserved fish.

If there's one thing that the people of Estun can rely on, it's the forest. Food from anything the people can forage as well as game, protection from the blizzards that come down from the mountains, but most importantly the timber from the trees themselves. The Saw Mill processes much of this to build and repair the dwellings of the village's folk as well as trade with other villages.

The Dwellings of Estun are known for miles around. Well built and sturdy, just like the people of the village. The shields above the doors are not purely symbolic, though they do show that these folk are protected.

The Watch Tower has stood for longer than anyone can remember. Stories say that this was the first building in the village, a remnant from an empire, long since fallen. Whatever the truth, horrors of all kinds have been spied from these ramparts. Without which, ambushes might have brought this settlement to its knees in ages past.

Even when all is quiet in Estun, the Tavern still has sounds of revelry. Mead, ale and wine from faraway lands are consumed by the hogshead. Life is hard in the mountains and everyone needs a place to ease the aching bones. Skalds know that they can pass through and get fed and watered for the price of a story. Can a village without a tavern truly be called a village at all?

  • Those who think that Martha Earp has a softer nature than her brothers are sorely mistaken. After an illness in her childhood cost her an arm, she gained an unshakable resolve and vowed that she would survive anything life could throw at her, proving that fact to anyone who challenged it. Following her brother's example, Martha enlisted as a Lawman, if only to prove that if there was anything they could do, she could do it better. More recently, since Morgan was shot by the Cowboys, Martha has taken a posse into the wilds of the Arizona territory in search of the cowards who ambushed her brother. They should pray that she doesn't find them.

Martha is joined by her brother, Warren Earp, a man who is not just the most ornery of his clan, but one of the most bad-tempered lawmen riding across the west. Fighting in the Ore War, something inside Warren snapped and no amount of cosseting could fix it. Now he rides with his sister, too angry to settle anywhere, keeping the peace by any means necessary. He's been known to use violent, deadly force for minor infractions, a trait that sometimes has him at odds with more tolerant members of his profession. Warren believes vehemently that criminality leads to rebellion and rebellion leads to the horrors of war. In his mind, it's best to stamp out that seedling, no matter how small, before it grows into something truly awful.

As a Justice of the Peace, the venerable patriarch of the family, Nicholas Earp was given a UR-24 automata to help with his duties. On his passing in 1863, the machine was damaged and fell into disuse. As the various siblings drifted away from the family home to fight in the Ore War, the automata was repurposed to help around the place. The UR-24 was especially useful to Martha, who had yet to fully embrace the mechanical prothesis her father had acquired for her.

When James didn't come back from the war, no one thought to challenge the distraught Martha when she placed his coat and hat on the automata and began to call him James. Martha and James had been as close as two siblings could be and the family saw this as part of the grieving process for her. As time went on, and with the help of her brother Morgan, Martha added programme cards acquired from a damaged UR-30 lawbot and added them to her "James". The machine was reprogrammed with phrases James used to say and in Martha's presence, it was even treated like a part of the family. Somehow, a part of him seemed to live on. Over time, the automata became the de-facto brother of Martha, accompanying her throughout her life and time enforcing the law. Now, "James Earp" rides the plains seeking a cold and calculated revenge with those it views as its siblings. Curiously, no one seems able to explain is why the automata have the same lopsided gait that its namesake grew up with. Certainly, it has never been programmed or instructed to behave in this way. For Martha, it is further proof that the spirit of her brother lives to ride anew.

  • Many are the tales of woe told by the survivors of their attacks – stories of the arrival of dragon-headed ships, and the cold-hearted raiders they bear. In huddled dockside taverns across the northern provinces, men speak in hushed tones of the Varangur berserkers, who arrive in their longships, razing ports and pillaging all before them in the name of their god, Korgaan. The Northern Alliance are often tarred with the same brush by those ignorant of the ways of the North. Their fleets are similar in appearance, and their ferocity in battle near equal. To those who fall prey to the dragonships of the North, what matter the identity of the conquerors?

  • Centuries ago, the first Busse was devised by a visionary mystic, who had received a dream-quest from Korgaan himself. He had foreseen a time when the clans would unite, and would require a longship of great size, capable of carrying a veritable army across the Frozen Sea to conquer the lands of the South. This vision almost came true, and certainly the promise of new conquest was enough for the warring clans to put aside their differences long enough to construct the Busse to the mystic’s specifications.

  • The fleets of the northern clans share their designs – ones that have served them well for centuries. Their sleek vessels often eschew heavy guns in favour of manoeuvrability and boarding equipment, striking swiftly into the heart of the enemy fleet that their hardy warriors might get to grips with the foe face-to-face. For the Varangur, this entails packing their decks with merciless, bloodthirsty warriors. For the Northern Alliance, much of the fighting is undertaken by the Icekin, doughty dwarfs, hulking snow trolls, and ogre mercenaries.
