This resident of the Ospedale reacted to treatment in a way previously unseen by any of the Doctors. The patient mutated and erupted into a mass of tentacles, destroying the lab and slaughtering its captors, leaving none alive that would be able to repeat the procedure. The creature disappeared into the night, with no witnesses to speak of.

Known across the city as the Demolitionist, Boomer, Mistress Flame, or any number of other synonyms, this is no woman to mess with. Cursed with an unnaturally strong constitution by the Rent in the Sky, she barely feels pain, but is also stripped of many other senses. Her hearing and sight are dulled, and with so much of the world stripped from her, she strives to feel anything she can, resorting to further extremes to do so.

While her identity is a mystery, none would be surprised to know that her arson tendencies started before the Rent in the Sky opened, and now she is reacting to her powers in the only way she can, by falling further into madness, chasing light, sound, and the smell of gunpowder night after night. More than anything though, this bizarre figure loves to stick around her explosions, eager to feel the slightest hint of pain from the blazing fire.

The breeding practices of the Rashaar are very secretive, and best not delved into. Nonetheless, more and more mutated beings are walking the streets. Some hide their deviations behind dirty rags, and others appear only at night. These twisted forms of humanity shriek at the Rent as they pull themselves out of canals and leap across rooftops in pursuit of their prey.

For those Rashaar players wanting to make a more balanced force, this box is a brilliant addition to a gang. Luckily for the residents of Venice these results are hard to reproduce, although it's only a matter of time before the Doctors figure out the process.

In the years since Vlad Dracula’s death, the remaining Strigoi have spread throughout the globe. With extended lifespans, many have become grandiose beyond measure, starving and gorging themselves on blood until they become mere echoes of their human side. A Highborn Servant is so desperate to be given the blood kiss she’ll spend her riches on the cult. Since the Rent in the Sky opened and changed the world forever, Venice has seen an upswing in its economy. Entire districts are getting rebuilt, with new parts of the lagoon dredged up almost weekly.

However, there are plenty of areas of Venice that are still living in poverty. While the Church of Dagon helps who it can, the ruling classes care little for the squalor of the poorest in Venice. Their houses are still in disrepair, with plaster crumbling and bricks falling out.

Still, no amount of disrepair will stop the roving gangs from climbing and leaping across the buildings of Venice, trying to out-maneuver their opponents.

Excommunicated from the Church before the Rent in the Sky opened, Felix Baumgertner and Thomas Thieme set out on their own. With beliefs that in the old days were seen as blasphemous, their hunt carried on regardless. Now that the Rent has brought monsters into the world their beliefs have found a new home, and while they might not agree with the zealotry of the new Vatican, they're happy for the opportunity to enter Venice and track down the creatures of the night.

Felix and Thomas are two unique characters for the forces of the Vatican. Felix is the answer to the Vatican's support Leaders, with highly offensive skills and the ability to make other characters in your gang complete powerhouses. Thomas on the other hand is a lot faster than most Vatican characters, and can also bring the hurt - particularly against Strigoi and Mages!

That’s right, you saw that correctly. It’s four Pulcinella riding ostriches. Having stolen them from a shipment headed for The Doctors, these bipedal beasts are the perfect mount for a gang of crazed Pulcinellas! This box actually contains a fully legal gang. With two Ostrich Riders as fast Henchman choices, a Very Loud Ostrich (the one tooting a horn) as a supporting Hero choice, and the Ostrich King as a Leader, this gang gets in fast and is super weird. In 1793 a great calamity hit the world. The Rent in the Sky tore apart the heavens, destroying most of Italy and flooding Europe. Only one place survived mysteriously unscathed: Venice. In the years since, the Floating City has become a beacon of hope and trade, even as the Rent gazes balefully down, putting the city into a permanent twilight. The residents have changed and adapted to a new world, a world of magic and monsters.

Creatures live deep in the canals, brought through the great tear in reality. These Rashaar are masked by the Church of Dagon, an openly benevolent sect whose home is in the flooded district of San Canciano, among the crumbling buildings and dirty canals.

But there are others in the city that suspect more is afoot. The Guild - a shadowy organisation of thieves and murderers - orders the citizens around. The Guild protect them from evils of the city, but the cost is their loyalty and servitude. Traversing the streets of Venice is dangerous, but the canals are the fastest way across town, even with the beasts that lurk underneath the water.

This highly detailed resin gondola is reminiscent of the ones that populate the canals of Venice. The vessel has been specially designed for gaming though, with flat surfaces that will support two miniatures on 30mm bases, or one miniature on a 40mm base.
