• Some of the smaller PHR forward bases are designed solely for support and defence, integrating large arsenals of defensive weapons that can take down any enemy that gets in range.

Following the design ethos of the PHR, the small station shows off those smooth armour panels that pack a payload of firepower.

The two kits that can be made are the PHR Orbital Picket or PHR Obital Outpost. Both builds are equipped with the Station Turret Rack, which targets all enemy ships that are in range. The Orbital Picket is equipped with a battery of Neutron missiles that are Close action weapons that Cripple any ship that comes within range. The Orbital outpost will take out targets from long range with its Triple Supernova Laser, this can Burnthrough the largest of ships.

  • Developed from the cruiser class ship, the Space Stations give the ships of the resistance a base among the stars. The Astrobotanical Outpost puts out a signature that no enemy fleet can ignore, drawing them away from Resistance ships.

The Resistance is finally able to assist their Fleets with the addition of the new space stations, each one providing greatly needed support.

The Resistance Grand Station provides huge fire support through the use of its Heavy Vent Cannon and dual pair XN-31-S Mass Driver Turret, giving an area of threat that no enemy ship will want to enter. This Kit can also be assembled as the Resistance Astrobotanical Outpost, still posing the Heavy Vent Cannon that can crack open any nearby ship, however this ships main role is to use its Signature Bloom to hide friendly ships.

  • In areas of less control, the shaltari will build the smaller variants of these space stations, employing advanced technology that humans cannot comprehend. The ability to manipulate the gravity around these stations make them a no fly zone for any inexperienced pilot.

Adding to their space station arsenal, the Shaltari Small Space Station allows them to expand further out into the stars.

This kit makes either the Gatestation or the Grav Hook Space Station. The Gatestation contains two gates that can be launched and used as teleporting locations to increase the positioning potential in your fleet, don't lose control of the station though, otherwise the gates will shutdown. The Grav Hook Station uses a Gravity Manipulator to shunt your friendly ships away, giving a significant speed boost, but then uses it to drag enemy ships in hindering the manoeuvres and slowing them down.

  • While the Scourge prefer to make additions to already existing infrastructure, sometimes capturing a planet means eliminating its existing orbital defences. In situations like these they will employ purpose built stations, the most common of of which are the Ephyra and Nematocyst. Though it is unknown to the UCM how the Scourge deploy them in orbit, none have been seen in construction, their presence alone means heavy Scourge occupation.

The Ephyra is the more numerous of the two, based upon rows of Oculus weapons, it seems the Scourge favour this more ubiquitous tech than other long range defensive weapons. Though not particularly dangerous at range, it's still enough of a threat for attackers to steer clear of.

The Nematocyst is the long range specialist of these defensive stations. It's usually the first to fire upon any engaging fleet, and usually a priority target. Its Volcano Lance is capable of painting a ship with a beam of thermal energy, not unlike that of the Furnace weapons on Scourge ships. Though the power involved causes the station to be as visible as the ship it's targeting.

  • "When I shipped out for Basic, these stations were all theory and politics, now look! This station is one of three hundred geosync platforms. That hangar up top can spit out more fighters than a capital ship. With coordinated fire from torpedo stations, nothing's getting past this line."

With a blocky build and grey paint job, the UCM theme is hard to miss. These new small stations are no exception and it will show any enemy of mankind that they're dug in and ready to hold the line!

Rather then bringing arms to bear, these stations pack launch assets that can support the rest of the UCM fleet. The first variant builds the UCM Defence Hangar that can send Fighters and Bombers into the fray to counter enemy ace pilots. The second build replaces the launch bays in favour of a payload of standard UCM torpedoes.

  • Launch assets (fighters, bombers and torpedoes) are important elements in games of Dropfleet Commander - both for protecting your ships and annihilating your opponents!

These greatly add to the look and feel of your fleet, enhancing the gaming experience by replacing the card tokens provided in the starter set. Each of these craft is moulded with an integrated flight stand to attach to its base, allowing for easy assembly.

    CONTENTS

This box contains 2 black hard plastic launch asset sprues. In total, these build 8 bases of bombers (3 bombers/base), 6 bases of fighters (5 fighters/base) and 2 bases of torpedoes (1 torpedo/base). This is usually enough for one player with an average tournament sized fleet.

Since these miniatures are so small, they are designed to be generic and not race specific. Simply paint them in your fleet colours to differentiate them!

    Base size is 20mm x 20mm.

  • A tiny portion of humanity turned its back on mankind in the waning days of the last Golden Age. Over one and a half centuries later, the PHR has emerged from the shadows as an unrecognisable civilisation, its people irrevocably changed. They are no longer simple human beings, they are post-humans - cyborgs.

A society no more than three billion strong, the PHR is a nation of elites, each individual more than a match for several lesser mortals. With remarkable speed, they have made technological advancements surpassing those of the UCM. Since its fiery birth, the PHR has been guided by the enigmatic White Sphere, a mysterious object of immense power. It is treated by the people of the PHR with a reverence bordering on worship.

The supremely tough PHR fleet delivers superlative firepower through massed weapon broadsides, producing a maximum damage output unmatched by other races. However, their limited fire arcs require a skillful hand at the helm to unleash a punishing double salvo.

This boxed set is the perfect way to get started with a PHR fleet or add to an existing one, since it can be configured to almost any requirement!

  • The PHR is an ever advancing enigma, whatever these cruisers were designed for is beyond any intelligence report the UCM has access to. Only being seen during the Battle for Earth performing seemingly clandestine operations, meeting any questions from the Admiralty with staunch silence.

The Prototype Bellerophon is a more bulky variant of the standard PHR Bellerophon cruiser. Only being seen in a scant few engagements, the UCM has little combat data on the performance of these ships. Due to their recent sightings, the Admiralty has designated these as "prototype" ships.

The Prototype Orpheus seems to be based on the same hull type as the Prototype Bellerophon. This version of the Orpheus has its bulk lander bays tucked underneath the armour on the upper hull section. This offers excellent protection from enemy attacks, though requires a different flight path to ground than the standard Orpheus would require.

These ships offer an alternate visual style but still follow the normal rules for the PHR Bellerophon and Orpheus cruisers.

  • Despite maintaining existing pre-war designs, the shipyards of Kalium have made little in the way of innovation. That was until the Battle for Earth, where Kalium shipyards made efforts to "brand" their new refined ships following losses.

The Kalium KNC-5 Line Cruiser is a Kalium designed light cruiser. These ships are a refinement over the pre-war ships that Kalium had been producing in vast numbers. Now more indicative of the brutalist design aesthetic that permeates Kalium designs. The KNC-5 Line Cruiser is equipped with two Vent Cannon Turrets as well as NC-16 Missile Banks.

While the KNC-5 is geared towards risky close range combat, the KNC-12 offers a more supportive role within the Kalium fleet. This Fleet Carrier has a full broadside of launch bays, with prodigious fighter and bomber compliment, and can support its wings with a top mounted Vent Cannon Turret.

These ships offer an alternate visual style but still follow the normal rules for Resistance Light Cruisers with the appropriate loadout.

  • The Battle for Earth was disastrous for the occupying Scourge fleet. With a staggering amount of ships destroyed, it was only a matter of time before reinforcements arrived. What the Triumvirate was not expecting was these ships to be so...new.

The Solar Wyvern is an updated variant of the standard Wyvern. Constructed in seemingly lower quality than those that took earth over 160 years ago, these cruisers are no less deadly. Wrecks captured by the UCM show that these cruisers are remarkably new, possibly no older than the start of the Reconquest.

The mainstay of the Scourge fleet has also been seen as a "Solar" variant. A Solar Sphinx is no less deadly than their ancient counterparts, though much less reliable in the long term. Something that doesn't matter as much when they're not expected to last long enough to need even a single refit.

These ships offer an alternate visual style but still follow the normal rules for the Scourge Sphinx and Wyvern cruisers.

  • Despite their technological supremacy, it was inevitable that the Shaltari would incur losses during their constant interference in the Reconquest. The fleet stationed above Aaru contains patterns similar to the ancient Shaltari battleships, albeit at a cruiser tonnage.

The Aaru Basalt is a carrier of ancient design, though no less potent than its contemporary counterpart. Primarily seen above Aaru, these have been given the name as a way of differentiating ships of comparable role and performance.

Also seen primarily above Aaru is a variant of the Emerald Mothership. Equally as old a design as the Aaru Basalt and just as rare. The tribes must be getting thin on ships if they're using ancient designs to hold a planet.

These ships offer an alternate visual style but still follow the normal rules for the Shaltari Basalt and Emerald cruisers.

  • Due to the attrition the UCMF suffered during the Battle for Earth, several manufacturers have gained lucrative military contracts. The Titania Aerospace Corporation continues to innovate and is now capable of producing small quantities of combat capable cruisers.

The Titania New Rio and New Berlin (named after the cities on Titania) are the product of the newly operating Titania Fleet Systems. It's two flagship cruisers are optimisations on already existing designs, the Rio and Berlin. Matching their combat performance blow for blow, the Titania variants offer a greater operational lifetime, reducing time spent undergoing refits in drydock.

While deployed in small numbers, the maintenance cost of smaller engagements and general wear and tear is a great improvement over their Nicolum counterparts. Despite this the UCMF is slow to adopt these efficient designs, due to the lack of spare parts and no compatibility with current UCM designs.

These ships offer an alternate visual style but still follow the normal rules for the UCM Rio and Berlin cruisers.

  • The PHR Homeworlds are still a mystery to the UCM. However, since securing a foothold on Tlalocan and forming an uneasy alliance during the Battle for Earth, the PHR have started to secure their place in the system. With that comes forward bases. Sleek and elegant, as befitting the PHR, their Space Stations are things of deadly beauty.

With long smooth armour panels and a complete ring that seems to defy gravity, there's no mistaking this space station for anything but PHR design.

An elegant design is only the beginning though, as this kit can be built as either a PHR Defence Halo or a PHR Orbital Spire. Both options come with just so many Medium Calibre Turrets, although the choice of a Quad Supernova Laser or a set of Neutron Missiles (twice as many as on the Minos) is entirely up to you.

  • Although rare, the Shaltari do sometimes set up more permanent bases. Seen in heaviest numbers before the jump to the Battle for Earth, a Shaltari Anchor stops enemy ships in their tracks with sub-light and Foldspace dampeners. The Shuriken takes a more active defence role with a devastating array of Disintegrators.

The Shaltari are joining the space station club! With a wildly different design to the boxy human space stations, the five vanes are synonymous with the Shaltari design ethos.

This kit makes either a fully armed Shuriken Space Station or a very annoying Anchor Space Station. The Shuriken is armed with with 5 independent Disintegrator Banks which can fire in all directions! The Anchor trades firepower for pure annoyance. Acting as a link in the Voidgate network is already a pain for opponents, but it also forces nearby enemy ships onto Station Keeping, further frustrating your opponent.

  • The Pegasus makes its kills though deploying swarms of armed nano-drones, quick and tiny enough to be difficult for point defences to counter. Meanwhile the Ourania is a highly-specialised, unarmed vessel that uses its oversized, advanced targeting link to relay gunnery information to larger ships towards the rear, greatly increasing their effective range.

This set contains 3 PHR Cutters, all able to be built as either Pegasus or Ourania variants. There are parts to build 3 ships, of either variant, giving PHR some deadly speed.

The Pegasus Nan-Hive Cutter is a sleek and smooth ship, focusing on that classic PHR smooth armour plate *chef's kiss*. Armed with a Nano-Hive, these tiny Nano Drones provide both offensive and defensive capability. Get close up and unleash a colossal amount of shots. With Regenerate that never gets Crippled, this ship will stay in the fight long past its welcome, aggravating your opponents. The Ourania Swiftlink on the other hand provides absolutely no offensive firepower! Its Targeting Link allows a PHR fleet to use it to measure range for other ships, letting you bring your Broadsides to bear at a terrifying distance!

  • Built in various configurations over the years, the Sagittarii is a typical pre-war cutter, if ‘typical’ can even be applied to such a specialist ship. Almost all the ship’s power is consumed by the drives, necessitating the low power N-12 Artillery Cannon. Instead, add a set of launch bays and you have the Baleares, one of the fastest carriers in mankind’s fleets, embodying the concept of the pre-war pocket carrier.

This set contains 3 Resistance Cutters, all able to be built as either Sagittarii or Balaeres variants. There are parts to build 3 ships, of either variant, and with additional rudder pieces, you can assemble them in a variety of ways; both engines and nose can be put vertically or horizontally for more customisation.

The Sagittarii fills the classic Cutter role: annoying the enemy at high speed! The fastest ship in a Resistance fleet, it can bring its N-12 Artillery Cannons to bear frighteningly early, and often without too much support, leaving that for the rest of your ships. Although not very accurate, a squad of three can wreck even a medium Cruiser with one barrage and a bit of luck. Meanwhile the Baleares is a Pocket Carrier, providing Fighter & Bomber support for the rest of your fleet. With the same blistering speed, it can assist ships at a moment's notice - ideal for Resistance who typically have low Point Defence.

Contains 3 resin miniatures and plastic Dropfleet Commander bases and flight stands.

  • The Wraith is the archetypal cutter: a small, fast hunter of already fast enemy scouts, outliers and support vessels. Currently, nothing the UCMF possesses can outrun a Wraith. Through the use of its siphon, the Parasite can drain excess hull energy from other ships and take it into itself, redirecting it to overcharge its Oculus weapons to cruiser-level

    destructive potential.

This set contains 3 Scourge Cutters, all able to be built as either Wraith or Parasite variants. There are parts to build 3 ships, of either variant, for absolute Scourge carnage.

The Wraith Cutter is blisteringly fast, and not too shabby at shooting either! Like most Scourge, you have to get in close to best use it, but with a Thrust of 16", that won't be hard. Its Plasma Brand provides the Scourge with a Close Action (Beam) weapon, which turns this from an annoying ship to a potentially terrifying one. The Parasite Radiation Leech is a little weirder! Its Energy Siphon ability feeds on nearby Spikes, both friendly and enemy. The larger Spike you absorb, the more powerful your Occulus Rays will become; a squad of three can put out a potential 27 damage! Although they'll be lit up like a Christmas tree, so expect some heavy counter-fire if you ever manage to make that happen.

Contains 3 resin miniatures and plastic Dropfleet Commander bases and flight stands.

  • Hilariously fast by human standards, even the Scourge cannot outrun the Caesium. By mounting a specialised version of the disruptor, it is designed specifically for targeting small ships. Based on a light, fast cutter hull, the Gallium’s only weapon defines it: the Bio Atomiser Array. A hit will indiscriminately rupture living cells, causing brain haemorrhage, heart attacks, and catastrophic malfunctions.

This set contains 3 Shaltari Cutters, all able to be built as either Caesium or Gallium variants. There are parts to build 3 ships, of either variant, giving you extra speed and firepower.

Shaltari Cutters do two things and they do them very well: get in quick, and shoot things to pieces! These ships are easy to fit into your list, and provide some really annoying harassers for your opponent. The Caesium is designed to destroy small ships hanging on the back-field (take that, Limas), its Focused Disruptors much easier to use thanks to the Vectored rule. The Gallium is a little slower, but has a potentially devastating weapon. The Bio Atomiser Array does no damage, but as a Close Action (Beam) with Corruptor, you'll bypass all armour and put a load of Corruptor tokens on any enemy that gets too close. With 6 Attack, that's a lot of annoyance for your opponent; classic Shaltnanigans!

Contains 3 resin miniatures and plastic Dropfleet Commander bases and flight stands.

  • Reykjaviks generally operate ahead of the main fleet and are often tasked with making the first small but crucial kills in an engagement, using a pair of fixed UF-9000-S mass drivers: short-barrelled versions of those found on dreadnought turrets. The Nuuk’s ability to directly damage an opponent is limited, but a concentrated, close-range blast from its Haywire Blaster can render an enemy ship confused and unable to compute complex tasks, such as plotting firing solutions for all weapons.

This set contains 3 UCM Cutters, all able to be built as either Reykjavik or Nuuk variants. There are parts to build 3 ships, of either variant, offering brand new options to the UCM.

Although not the fastest ships in the game, the UCM Cutters are tied for the fastest ships in the fleet, and with Vectored as well, that's maximum mobility! The Reykjavik is the ultimate in UCM interceptors: get in quick and unleash a hailstorm of mass driver fire! You'll have to be careful with positioning to make the most out of them, but with Outlier and Vectored, that'll be straightforward. The Nuuk is anything but straightforward! Its Haywire Blaster does no damage, but shuts down an enemy ship's systems, sending them onto Standard Orders for the round. Especially deadly against Scourge on Silent Running, or large ships like Dreadnoughts!

Contains 3 resin miniatures and plastic Dropfleet Commander bases and flight stands.

  • These mighty vessels once boldly plied new space, often commanding smaller exploration fleets on random jump expeditions. Unlike most ships, whole sections of superstructure can be swapped out for specialist modules, including weapons, storage, hangars, refineries, factories, cores and even vast bio-domes to seed empty planets with Earth’s fauna and flora.

This set contains a Resistance Dreadnought, able to be built as either a Pathfinder, Explorer, or Coloniser class, depending on your need! The Pathfinder is the smallest of the three, and you should be able to build 2 in one box. The Explorer is in the middle, and the Coloniser is the largest Dreadnought we've ever made!

With 68 pieces in this set (not including 2 Dropfleet bases and a bunch of MDF spacers to help with construction), you're able to build your Dreadnought your way. This is by far the most modular space ship kit we've ever made, and probably the modular space ship kit in the world.

There are almost infinite ways to build your Dreadnought, with rules that encourage freedom of choice. You can have a nicely balanced ship with a mixture of launch assets and weapons, or half a dozen torpedoes. You can take all broadsides or loads of turrets - the choice is yours!

Note that due to the size and modularity of this kit it is only recommended for advanced modellers. Some parts will need heating and bending to fit perfectly straight and slight gaps might need filling. And - let's face it - there are so many parts, there's going to be a fair bit of planning and trial and error involved!
