• The Covenant of the Enlightened is possibly the most exclusive club in the world. Bright young thinkers and scientists clamour for an introduction into its ranks and yet an incredibly small number make the grade. A brilliant mind is not the only prerequisite for entry. The Charter of the Covenant is quite clear on this point. A certain level of upbringing and financial backing are also qualities that are demanded from any potential candidates. They are, after all, looking to make the world a better place and bring the teeming masses into the brave new future of science.

    The Charter of the Covenant of the Enlightened permits another method by which a keen mind might gain access to membership of that intelligentsia. Personal recommendation of a fellow Peer. Through this, Burson Carpathian has granted himself carte blanche on who he elevates to the ranks of the Covenant. In this manner, he has surrounded himself with an eclectic group of sociopathic geniuses who swear fealty to him.

    Kyle Tanner, known as Kyle the Black because of the colour of his soul, is one of these individuals. The man's drive to further his own knowledge and abilities are tempered only by the occasional chiding from his patron, Carpathian. With no conscience or inhibitions, Kyle's experiments are run using the quantity over quality principle. The name of his Promethean Complex; The Abattoir, is a direct reflection on his habits and to see his impressively rotund frame is to know that he is a man of insatiable appetites.

    As a young man, Tanner served in the 24th Infantry Division under Colonel MacArthur and had used that position to further his experiments in augmenting the human form. What should have been a way to give wounded veterans a second lease of life was corrupted into a way to 'improve' the soldiers so that they could fight longer, harder and more efficiently. This culminated into weapons and armour directly grafted into the screaming meat that passed through his battlefield hospitals. Wishing greater control over his constructed henchmen and menials, Kyle began to perform lobotomies to remove a good deal of idle thought and free will in his subjects. When this work was uncovered MacArthur attempted to have Tanner court marshalled. The disgraced Union medic fled after compelling his latest experiments to attack the camp and cover his escape. It was in a wretched state; battered, disgraced and hungry that Tanner fell into the employ of Carpathian.

    Kyle is now at liberty to continue refining his talents for creating constructs, mostly from seriously maimed or injured people, but sometimes from fit and healthy individuals down on their luck or heavily in debt. Kyle's experiments are not limited to others either, he has grafted a pair of additional servo arms to his torso, equipped with claws and saws, that allows him to work even while feeding his capacious appetite. Naturally, these additional appendages assist him in combat should he ever be unable to avoid it, making Kyle the Black a formidable adversary in melee.

    Virgil Earp is respected as a Lawman, respect earned by his own merits as well as his family connections. His alliance with Kyle the Black became necessary when Virgil and his younger brother Morgan were gunned down in Tombstone. Without the assistance of Kyle the Black, Morgan would have surely died and Virgil would have lingered the rest of his life as a cripple. But a bargain was struck with Kyle and the egomaniacal Carpathian. In this pact, Virgil paid for his brother's life with his own. Virgil became beholden to Kyle and Carpathian, forced to intercede on behalf of the Enlightened in the Arizona Territory and smooth over any disputes they might cause. This service is direct at times, especially when Vigil has found himself employed as little more than a bodyguard for one of the Covenant in times of need.

    Kyle the Black rarely needs to venture out of his facilities, except to see Doctor Carpathian or when searching for materials for his research. On such occasions, he is accompanied by a large retinue of constructs to provide protection and carry out his every whim. Anyone who wants to take a shot at Kyle will need to get past this fleshy tide of meat shields, or become part of it. It is common after a bandit ambush for Kyle and his band of constructs to return to the Abbatoir in greater numbers than when they left.

    The Meat Grinder Posse kit builds seventeen multi-part resin and Plastic miniatures;

    • 1x Kyle the Black
    • 1x Virgil Earp
    • 10x Constructed Menials
    • 5x Constructed Henchmen
    • 17x Bases

  • The dark and narrow streets of Dunsmouth, Rhode Island is home to a small fishing community. Typically in communities like this everyone knows everyone else's business, but not in Dunsmouth. Here people keep themselves to themselves and there is a constant state of tension and paranoia that hangs over the town like a cloying mist. • Servants of the Sunken Pantheon, the Hidden Ones make their home in coastal towns and villages around the world. Through corruption and interbreeding, the Hidden Ones irrevocably link their community to the sea and to Dread Father Dagon, Deep Mother Hydra, and the other ancient deities that they worship. The rise of sterile cities has forced the Hidden Ones further into the shadows and has pushed them towards the isolated communities where it is easier to go unnoticed. The families can prey on their neighbours, considering them little more than talkative sheep ready for slaughter. Food is not an issue for these ancient bloodlines that hide amongst the rest of us, and their numbers are growing with each cycle.

    Typical of such tainted communities are the fair (but fishy) folk of Dunsmouth, Rhode Island. The authority on almost anything in town is a putrid hag known as The Dunsmouth Witch. Steeped in ancient wisdom, none know of her true origin, but the Witch has certainly lived in Dunsmouth for over a century. Popular gossip has that a century earlier, a much younger and fairer looking woman, mourning her stillborn son, walked into the sea in the hope of swift oblivion. She returned carrying a crying baby boy, a gift from the Sunken Pantheon. That son grew up tall and strong, the blessings of the deep apparent beneath his rain-soaked sou'wester. Any threat to the Hidden Ones is sure to find The Dunsmouth Witch or her son, The Fisherman, close at hand. The Fisherman is a gruff and violent man. Never seen in town except when the tide is high and death is at hand. All too often the spectre of The Fisherman is the last thing a victim sees before a gore-encrusted boat hook sweeps down to usher in oblivion.

    Those who are steadfast in their devotion to the Sunken Pantheon are often blessed with offspring touched by the abyss below. These hybrids pass for humans except when confronted with fire or certain words of power. There are some children of the Hidden Ones who are not of such mixed heritage. The Angler is one such creature, born to a human mother but with no trace of mankind in its flesh. The Angler is both a child of Dunsmouth and progenitor from the deep. A true Deep One.

    Loyal to the Mother and Father, Molly Malone, is desperate to find such favour. The Malone family have served the Sunken Pantheon for generations. Youngest of twelve siblings, Molly feared that there would not be a way in which she herself could bring further honour to her lineage. She thanked the stars for that night that the Witch sought her out and gave her this important duty. The titanic crab, Click-Clack, must be lured out from the harbour when needed. The pails of human offal that Molly must acquire for such a purpose is her privilege to collect from the sleeping homeless and itinerant visitors to their fair town. An immense crustacean from the dark caverns of the deep, Click-Clack is often found clinging to the underside of the town's trawlers. There the creature lurks, journeying out to the fishing grounds and feasting on its tithe of the catch before returning to the town each night to answer the call of the Dread and the Deep.

    The Hidden Ones Faction Starter Set builds five multi-part resin miniatures;

    • 1x The Fisherman
    • 1x The Dunsmouth Witch
    • 1x Click-Clack
    • 1x Molly Malone

  • Knowledge is power, so the adage goes. To the adepts of the Priory, this is a literal truth as they have been curating their knowledge of Mythos for generations. It is the power by which humanity will be saved from the predations of the Old Ones.

    Over the millennia, shamans, soothsayers, skalds and scholars held the keys to the power of Mythos but were unaware of its greater purpose. Those fortunate few used it sparingly and merely glimpsed behind the curtain to barely retain their sanity. As humanity became increasingly arrogant in their own manifest destiny, this precious lore of Mythos was discarded in favour of technology, and the illusion of safety created by our increasingly modern world. So the Priory have been charged by their mysterious coordinator Madame Adrestia to remember the old dangers that still lurk in the shadows and to fight it at every turn.

    The Priory is an ancient institution with its members operating around the globe in roaming self-contained groups known as Cells. Contact between Cells is almost unheard of and membership and recruitment to each Cell is the responsibility of each Cell Leader. Professor Zachary Lazarus has led his Cell for over a decade. An expert in the arcane and occult, it is Lazarus who receives the telephone calls from the enigmatic Madame Adrestia, to plan the Lazarus Cell's next mission. Lazarus has a formidable will and distinctly Bohemian tastes, often found talking in earnest to his cat Zeus. More curious is that the creature seems to understand the detail of the Professor's discussion and obliges with various acts of infiltration and observation for the Priory.

    The anarchist-archaeologist Abigail Halsey is an invaluable member of the Lazarus Cell and her discoveries and research are often instrumental in overcoming many of the challenges they face. It was Abigail who discovered the journal of Rabbi Judah Loew ben Bezalel and the Mythos secrets for creating the Golem Maharal. This fifteen-foot tall animated clay monstrosity provides the muscle for the Lazarus Cell on their missions. What Maharal lacks in subtlety it more than made up for with brute force!

    Bertie Smythe was a decorated pilot over the Western Front when a dawn encounter in the clouds left him a changed man. He will not speak of what he saw that early morning, nor of the fate of his squadron. Wielding a flamethrower, it is hard liquor and endless cigarettes that fuels his determination to right this unspoken injustice. Weapons such as Bertie's require constant maintenance, as does much of the Cell's equipment. Fortunately, they can rely on the mechanically minded Kitty Page, the most recent recruit to the Cell. Kitty joined the Cell after their mission in Providence against the Path of Chronozon. Though still learning much of their war against the fell powers, Kitty is comforted that their mortal adversaries seem to be as susceptible to bullets and burning as everyone else in the Cell is, except Maharal of course.

    The Priory Faction Starter Set builds six multi-part resin miniatures;

    • 1x Kitty Page
    • 1x Zachary Lazarus
    • 1x Maharal
    • 1x Zeus
    • 1x Bertie Smythe

  • The small but productive town of Rio Sonora has enjoyed relative anonymity over the years allowing it to grow in peace and prosperity. A recent influx of visitors from across the border of Mexico and the Arizona Territories has shattered this peace. • Doing time in Jail is an occupational hazard when you’re a bounty hunter in the Arizona Territories. For Lilith Hart, not having spent even a minute of her life behind bars was a boast she made on a regular basis. “‘Aint ‘til those Earp boys sprout wings they got a chance ‘a catchin’ me”, was a favourite of hers. Those individuals who bring in criminals for bounty often flirt with legality and Lilith Hart and her Posse are no exception. That was, of course, until she found herself out in Warrior Nation land in North Arizona, out of ammo, out of juice and out of luck. Quilt of Stars and her pack of wolves sniffed out the bounty hunter and dragged Hart kicking and screaming back to Marshal Reeves and Sheriff Bullock.

    Sitting in her cell Hart spent a good deal of time pondering some of her recent life choices and came to the conclusion that going after John Moseby, “The Grey Ghost” was a job beyond even her abilities. They had grossly underestimated Moseby and his gang of freaks and wished she had someone on her team with more than one set of arms. That’s just where the trouble began though as it turned out Jack “Turkey Creek” Johnson was a friend of the Earps and all hell broke lose the following day. With the Tombstone boys hot on their heels Hart and Co. soon had to scatter to the four winds in order to try and avoid capture.

    As it tuned out “those Earp boys” didn’t need to sprout wings, they just needed a handful of deputies in gyrocopters to chase Lilith down and force her to crash land out in the wilderness. It took less than a week for her Posse to find her and break her out of jail. Now the hornet’s nest has well and truly been kicked and deputies from across the Territories have been called up to hunt for the gang.

    Forced into hiding in the little town of Rio Sonora, New Mexico, Lilith Hart and her band of wanted men lie in wait for the lawmen and other bounty hunters who are no doubt hot on their tail. Broad Arrow Jack might be the most notorious member of the Posse. His association with so many outlaws and his unrelenting disregard for the law has ensured his reputation precedes him. They say Jack has a wife in every state and that is reason enough to ensure he never stays in the same place for long. Thomas Tate Tobin, however, is a fellow with an unknown past. Many say that isn’t his real name, and while this is unremarkable for an outlaw, those who discover his real name and his history often pass it off as being merely a flight of fancy. The truth is the Tobin was once a member of Ponce de Leon’s band and was born over 300 years ago.

    Another mysterious member of Lilith’s Posse is Long Tree. Although he is a medical practitioner with dubious credentials, he has saved the life of many an outlaw in his time and serves Lilith well in this capacity. Few have seen the face behind his mask and even fewer have survived to tell the tale. James McClain, while he has been used to operating alone, has come to realise that no man is an island, especially when you can’t decide where your loyalties lie and has therefore thrown his lot in with Lilith. McClain is happy to use his position as Marshal to get him out of some tight spots should he need to.

    Some men say that Jim Peterson cannot die. No matter how much lead you pump into him he just gets back up. Money can’t buy that kind of reputation and Jim is more than happy to shovel fuel on that fire. Peterson is lethal with a blade and prefers to get up close and personal in a fight. Yann Packer, known to some as “The Wraith”, due to his talent for simply disappearing if the things get too hot, is a ruthless killer and Hart is happy to unleash him on her enemies. He revels in destruction and enjoys punishing his foes with a hail of shells from his repeating shotgun.

    The Dead or Alive Posse contains 7 multi-part resin miniatures;

    • 1x Lilith Hart
    • 1x Yann "The Wraith" Packer
    • 1x Longtree
    • 1x Thomas Tate Tobin
    • 1x Jim Petersen
    • 1x Broad Arrow Jack

  • The power of the Hex can be a subtle influence on those who only occasionally draw on its energies. To those like Marie Laveau and her coterie who fully embrace the entity, they wield awesome power. Across the bayous of Louisianna, the self-proclaimed queen of the Nazombu, Marie Laveau is supreme. She holds sway over hundreds of families, not as a dictator but as a mother, sister and friend. This has been the way for generations, ever since a strange egg was found deep in the swamps. The hatchling grew to be the creature known as Marie Laveau, although no actual woman of that name has ever existed. The form she wears is but a glamour, a product of her 'Magick' that allows her to interact with outsiders without them running in abject terror from her monstrous true nature.

    The women of Cleo's family have been Marie's companions for many generations. It was Cleo's grandmother who first found the egg that would hatch into such a blessing for the bayou. Through the family, Laveau learned of the rites and traditions of the Nazombu and Vodun. These trappings have been used by Laveau to mask her real power and shroud her legend in mystery. Cleo and her granddaughter, Zora have embraced the Hex to become embued with powers far beyond those of simple herbalism and witchcraft. Zora has developed a reputation as an oracle of some renown in South Louisianna. She guides and advises Marie in the happenings of the cultured lands beyond the swamps.

    Jaques Santiago was never a good man, let alone a good husband. He drank too much, gambled too much and played the fool too much. But in those early days of courtship, Jaques was Marie Laveau's ticket to the civilised world, something that she had initially struggled to gain leverage over. As her power base expanded and her influence reached further into the parlours of the wealthy, Marie's need for Santiago diminished and his dalliances became less hurtful and more of an inconvenience to her. When his philandering and gambling finally caught up with him, Laveau ensured his body was consumed by the Hex and, forever bound to her service. Over the years some additional modifications have been necessary to ensure that, retaining a few shreds of his memories and mental faculties, Jaques has proven to be a far more loyal and dependable husband to Marie Laveau than he ever was in his first life.

    The man known as Cemetary Kriminal is a capricious character often turning up at the worst possible moment to sow chaos and discord, revelling in the madness he leaves in his wake. They say Cemetary Kriminal cannot truly die, rising once more on the dawn of the following Saturday to seek revenge on those that dared cross him. It is Cemetary Kriminal who is feared as the master of the dead, as well as the giver of life. He can cure any mortal of any disease or wound if he thinks it is worthwhile. His powers are especially great when it comes to Nazombu curses and black magic. Even if somebody is on the verge of death, it is said that they will not die if Cemetary Kriminal refuses to dig their grave. So long as this mighty spirit keeps them out of the ground, the people of the bayou know that they are safe. He claims fealty to none, save a passing respect for Marie Laveau. Even she makes use of his eclectic services through complex bargains and rituals.

    The Court of the Nazombu Posse kit builds five multi-part resin miniatures;

    • 1x Zora - Nazombu Oracle

Most deputies typically bring their own shooting irons with them if they are called up, but some situations call for the big guns to be unpacked. Sometimes a Volcanic Shotgun will do the job when a residence or saloon needs clearing out, but other times call for something heavier. Gatling Guns were produced in great numbers during the Ore War and many of these are still in working order. A Deputy with a Gatling Gun laying down a wall of lead and can take down small and lightly armoured vehicles, compensating for their lack of training and accuracy at times.

  • While revolvers and rifles are commonplace throughout the West, heavier, more specialist weapons can be difficult to come by. Many outlaws simply steal the weapons they need while others carry relics from the Ore War that have been lovingly maintained over the intervening years. Raiders bearing these special weapons are therefore less common but can turn the tide of a fight quite easily. Juiced sniper rifles are employed to take down key targets while the Volcanic Shotguns discharge superheated buckshot, doing horrific damage in enclosed spaces and to closely packed enemies.

  • If the Cat House isn't the most popular and most patronized establishment in Red Oak then nobody would dare say it within earshot of Giulianna Starr; proprietor and Madam extraordinaire. She built the business up from the silver dollar she found in the bottom of a spittoon during the last days of the Ore War. While business is now booming, she has to keep tight control over the details for fear it will unravel before her eyes and she will have to earn her keep once more as she did back then. Men and women speak indiscreetly when aroused or drunk and the Cat House sees plenty of both. Madam Starr is flush with dollars but she is richer by far in secrets and favours. Her continued success relies on the promises made by influential and respectable citizens as well as the ruthless killers and desperate outlaws who enjoy the company of her boys and girls. In times of need, when she has to gather a posse, it's these same ner do wells and cut-throats that she has to rely on to get the job done, though she is careful to avoid the true sociopaths or psychopaths. They can't be trusted even under threat of mutual destruction.

    Of the many faces frequenting the Cat House, Papa Trinity is probably the most incongruous. There is something almost 'other-worldly' about the man. Seeking no company at the Cat House, Trinity is happy to just drink whiskey and watch the locals pass through. Despite his priestly garb and fiery demeanor, he passes no judgement and in turn is left well alone by the other patrons. Ignatius Nero, however, is fascinated by the priest and takes every opportunity to sit with him and strike up a friendship. He has even taken to shadowing Trinity when the pastor embarks on one of his long rides out to Superstition Mountain. So far the priest has proven adept at losing Nero in the mountains, but one day Ignatius swears he will find out where Trinity vanishes too.

    Leeroy Sabat is another regular face in Ms Starr's establishment and is well known as the best shot in Red Oak, a title disputed by only a few. His silhouette on the roof, long rifle in arms is enough to ensure any would-be trouble makers give the place a wide berth. Not that the likes of Bud Hutch would let them get far if they ever entered looking for trouble. Usually found carousing with the Auto-Piano in the main bar with his deep baritone, Hutch has his unusual flight rig and incendiary weapon close by. The partially filed off markings indicate Hutch may have once participated in a Union test-flight program.

    Keeping an eye on the patrons while Guilianna is upstairs, Sadie Walker is Starr's right-hand woman and closest confidant. She has worked at the Cat House for several years and is fiercely loyal to her boss, often settling any trouble before a punch is thrown. Though her reputation with the deadly pistols is such that she needs only the slightest provocation to demonstrate.

    Joey Manco was an old 'friend' of Giulianna's from way back who staggered into the Cat House one day with a fistful of dollars. Though quiet and gruff, Mancio does not talk about her past, her strong but unorthodox sense of justice speaks of a possible former life as a Lawman. Along with Walker, Manco keeps the place clean of trouble and teaches any disrespecting patrons a lesson they won't forget.

    When this Posse has a need to ride out on a manhunt or to settle a score, Giulianna makes sure that her debt to them is paid in full, whatever the outcome. After all, only God forgives...

  • The heavy infantry weapons used during the Ore War increased in lethality and portability throughout the conflict. At the end of that bloody struggle, the Union had added devastating Frag Launchers to their load-outs, while the Confederate troops remained steadfast in favouring only their Terminator Blasters. Units of Union Pacifiers armed with Frag Launchers or Blasters are still seen in support of the regular line infantry, clearing fortified positions with their high explosive rounds and even taking out light vehicles. The remnants of the Confederate forces can still call on a few dozen of their own Terminator armed warsuits, though few of the aging rebels still have the strength and skill to wield them. Such potent tools make their guerilla warfare an ever greater thorn in the Union's side.

    The Union Pacifiers / Confederate Terminators kit builds three multi-part resin miniatures and includes enough options to enable any of the two miniatures to be built as either a Union Pacifiers or a Confederate Terminators.

    • 2x Union Pacifiers / Confederate Terminators

  • When Marie Laveau first brought her beloved titanoboa, Opie, to the fleshcrafter Augusta Byron, the aim was to save the creature's life. Having been mortally wounded in a clash with Dylan Callus, this rare creature now lay dying on Byron's surgical table. Such an unusual biology caused Byron to relish the task ahead of her. She laboured long into the night, pausing mid-procedure only to replace one of her own hands when the confused and poorly sedated serpent lashed out and severed it.

    As the surgery entered its second evening, Byron was satisfied that not only would Creation VIII live, but that the improvements made would substantially increase the creature's strength, speed and resilience. At first Laveau was apprehensive at the substantial transformation her pet had endured. But seeing that the serpent's ferocity and new found lethality was switched off in favour of Opie's familiar submission and tenderness when by her side, Laveau soon prized him above all her other servants. Grateful for Byron's efforts, Laveau permitted the Countess to replicate the process on future titanoboas she procured and divided the profits equally. Regrettably, as is often the case with experimental engineering, the prototype differs greatly from the final product. In the case of Creation VIII the exact process could never be replicated as successfully in later versions, partly because of the cost and complexity, but also because none of the future specimens delivered to Byron was ever as intelligent or massive as Opie.

    Creation VIII remains the first and greatest of its kind. At his mistresses command, Opie is unleashed against her enemies, entertaining the Nazombu Queen as she listens to the victim's bones crunching as they are slowly crushed and digested within the titanoboa.

    The Opie: Creation VIII kit builds one multi-part resin miniature;

    • 1x Opie: Creation VIII

  • To the common man, the Covenant of the Enlightened are little more than an exclusive club of intellectuals and aristocrats who sit in grand drawing rooms talking much and doing little. While the Covenant are at great pains to show that the reality is far removed from this, it must be acknowledged that there are some groups within the Enlightened who more closely resemble this stereotype than they would like to admit.

    One such group of these is the Hook and Ladder Club in New York City, so named due to their premises being located in a building that was originally destined for the nascent Fire Department. The club members specialise in the emergent field of parapsychology, a subject that the common man might call supernatural.

    The club's current Auger, Warwick Hudson, leads all manner of discussions and theorising into matters ephemeral and improbable. Like the club's founders, Hudson believes that all things can be explained by applying the scientific method. He maintains that they are in an age of Industrial 'super-science' and that any reports of strange and mysterious happenings from the "Wild West" of America or the "Lost World" of Antarctica are simply exaggerated or misunderstood by unreliable witnesses.

    Under the terms of his sponsorship by the British aristocrat, Lord Buckland, Auger Hudson is required to have his scientific merits officially recognised and that will require fieldwork. Hudson has been working for many months to assemble his team and to prepare them with such equipment as the most dangerous of environments and situations require. Armed with an array of esoteric and highly experimental weaponry, Hudson is set upon venturing forth and collecting enough data to present to the Hook and Ladder Club, therefore securing himself a position as a Peer of the Covenant in his own right. Hudson and his Soul Hunters (as the lurid press would daub them) follow up reports of 'spectral etherics' around the globe. Major expeditions are underway to both the Badlands of the Union as well as the Antarctic interior.

    At Auger's right hand is Erin Meltzer, a scientist and researcher with a passion for uncovering the unknown that almost burns as bright as his own. She is particularly fascinated by reports in the Badlands of Montana of animals growing to an almost impossible size and imbued with some etheric properties. Ernesto Volk is similarly obsessed with the physical, though more often his thoughts are of his own impressive physique and he has a reputation in the club as a pugilist of some renown, a skill he developed while he studied at University in Greenwich Village.

    Hans Spelmann is the quiet, contemplative member of the group and will often only contribute to a discussion when he deems it a necessity. The newly discovered flora and flora of the Lost World is of great interest and he believes that the energies that have brought about such fantastical evolution are linked to the spectral anomalies found elsewhere. Jocasta Tobin is the writer and archivist of the Hook and Ladder Club, she documents all of their research and theories and promises to one day publish them as a guide to future investigators into the unexplained. Finally, Katherine Holst is the engineering risk-taker and the most outgoing of them all. It was Holst who collaborated with the French scientist Girauld Eres (before his terrible accident) and made possible the spectral containment technology on which their research now relies so heavily upon.

    The Soul Hunters Detachment kit builds six multi-part resin miniatures;

    • 1x Auger Warwick Hudson
    • 1x Erin Meltzer
    • 1x Ernesto Volk
    • 1x Hans Spelmann
    • 1x Jocasta Tobin
    • 1x Katherine Holst
    • 6x Base

    The Soul Hunters Detachment can be used in games of both Lost World Exodus and Wild West Exodus.

    Please note: Miniatures are supplied unpainted and some assembly will be required. Character Unit Cards are not included and can be found on the Wild West Exodus website. Scenic base toppers are not included and are for display purposes only.

  • Bridgetown, Barbados was, until some years back, presided over by Governor James Walker, a deeply religious Scotsman who believed it was his duty to lead his God-fearing residents to a prosperous future. He had several children who enjoyed a strict and puritanical upbringing guided by an evangelical Minister known as Papa Trinity. Walker's youngest daughter, Lucretia, rebelled strongly against this oppressive lifestyle in her late-teens and found intimate companionship form Tituba, a native Barbadian girl a couple of years her senior. Lucretia would revel in any activity she believed her father would object to and was soon dabbling in fortune-telling and other decidedly non-Puritan activities.

    After a particularly intense "reading" she began to exhibit strange symptoms; pinching, prickling and choking sensations. These symptoms persisted for days but none of the physicians in Bridgetown, nor the wider island, were able to diagnose the problem. Eventually, it was suggested that the girl's malady must be the result of witchcraft. Governor Walker organised prayer meetings and days of fasting in an attempt to alleviate Lucretia's symptoms while Papa Trinity fanned the flames of witchcraft suspicions from his pulpit. Tituba, fearing the worst for her lover, participated in the preparation of a witch cake; a mixture of rye and Lucretia's urine that was cooked and fed to a dog, in the belief that the dog would then reveal the identity of the person who had bewitched Lucretia.

    Governor Walker had just received the news that the sickness had rendered his daughter paralysed and was close to death when rumour of the Witch-cake and the relationship his daughter had with a native girl reached him. He had Tituba arrested and soon thereafter the several jealous local girls implicated Tituba herself as the witch who had cursed his daughter. Needing very little reason Papa Trinity attempted to have a confession beaten out of Tituba but the girl refused to confess and instead professed her love for Lucretia. This further enraged the Governor and Tituba spent the next year in jail, eventually succumbing to cholera.

    During Tituba's incarceration Lucretia's health slowly began to improve. Her father put this down to his many months of praying at her bedside but in truth, his daughter's clairvoyance had allowed her mind to be touched by Hex as she lay dying. The power of the Hex had ensured that she had been mostly healed, except for the paralysis that left her without the use of her legs. It was in her fitful sleep that dreams and visions came to her, much more vivid than any reading she had made. Lucretia saw a huge industrial complex with chimneys belching smoke into a cloudless, azure sky. She felt something calling her from the bowels of that place, something dark and powerful as if she were standing on the edge of a bottomless chasm staring into infinity. In gratitude for her restoration, she knew she would have to find this place.

    As soon as she was able to send a messenger to the jail, Lucretia paid the seven pounds for the ailing Tituba's release. Lucretia had her dying lover brought to the Governor's Mansion but instead of a last few days spent together, the couple were immediately seized by the militia at her father's command. The Governor had Tituba whipped in front of his daughter, in the hope that this would put an end to the nonsense once and for all. Imagine his shock as the dying Tituba broke free and grabbed him by the throat, her arm bloated and cords of muscle standing out below her darkening skin. The sound of his gargled scream was accompanied by the echo of cracking bones gunshot loud in the small room. The Militia stood frozen in fear as Tituba mutated into a Hex Beast before their eyes and tore the throat from the Governor without a flicker of emotion on her bestial face. As the guards were similarly torn to pieces, Lucretia cowered in the corner, unable to run. She hid her eyes from her inevitable fate, yet the fatal blow did not fall. Instead, she felt the brush of a hand against her hair and looked up to see the deformed features of her lover with tears in her now inhuman eyes. Lucretia realised that through her own talents and the gift of the Hex she could communicate with Tituba and some fragment of her mind still remained in her colossal and mutated body. Rekindling their relationship once more, the pair fled into the night, Lucretia safely cradled in Tituba's large arms. They boarded a ship bound for the Union and headed to the Arizona Territory. Lucretia was sure their future lay somewhere in that vast landscape, buried deep beneath a subterranean factory of steel and glass. With her ability to influence Tituba and others of her kind, Lucretia was confident she would find her answers...

  • In the Dystopian Age, so-called Spirit Apparitions manifest many forms. There has been much speculation both in scientific journals as well as in the penny dreadfuls and newspapers as to the origins of these strange forces but few have seen them for more than a fleeting glimpse and even fewer have been able to study them to any reliable degree. The Warrior Nation believe them to be a projection of the Great Spirit, and often to them take the form of a primal animal spirit or a spectral warrior. To those who are touched by the Hex, these apparitions are simply residual energies of the Hex itself, an echo of the many lives that have bonded with the entity over the millennia. To the followers of The Order, these ghostly forms are the manifestation of the Allshard, made temporal and unpredictable with a lack of a host. Whatever the source of these apparitions, they always appear differently to each observer. To some, they are terrifying creatures or angelic beings composed entirely of light, to others they are little more than motes of energy. What is not up to individual perception, however, is the Spirit Apparition evident rage and ability to flense flesh from the bones of those that would stand against their inscrutable journey through our world.

  • Few people have witnessed the voracious monster Vor Khet and lived to tell the tale. In the Montana territories, they whisper campfire tales of a hulking, eyeless creature who stalks the deep, wooded foothills of the Rocky Mountains sniffing out human flesh. Many a fisherman at Flathead Lake has vanished, attributed to Vor Khet tearing them apart as they slept. Surely these are the ramblings of a lunatic? No-one would believe such a creature exists.

    The most common story told by the locals is that Vor Khet was once of the Warrior Nation. A large man with a prodigious appetite, he preferred his own company beyond the plains. In the foothills of the mountains he hunted, fished and roamed free. But isolated from his kindred, he fell prey to a malevolent wraith that corrupted him both in mind and body. Having fed him her dark energies, the spirit discovered Vor Khet's appetite remained unsated and so she unleashed him on the world, to kill and devour any living creature that crossed his path. Darkness is no obstacle for this creature as, almost blind, he senses the beat of the heart, the quickening of breath and can taste the tang of blood in the air. Once Vor Khet hunts you, your doom is all but certain. Your fate is to be ripped apart in his toothy maw.

  • A marvel of the Dystopian Age, portals are gateways rent into the fabric of space forming a passageway to another nearby location. Often these portals can be linked into a multitude of other such gateways forming a network in the local area. Any person or object smaller than the aperture of the portal can pass through and be transported almost instantaneously to a new location. While the portals of forces such as Watcher Hegemony or The Order of the Allshard are more sophisticated than those reverse engineered by the Covenant of the Enlightened, all portal travel has a degree of risk associated with it. A traveller should never enter a portal without knowing where it leads to - or indeed if it actually leads anywhere!

  • There are those in the frontier who earn their reputation through acts of selflessness and heroism. Perhaps it is human nature to find greater interest in the more salacious adventures of outlaws and bandits. The pages of newspapers and penny dreadfuls are filled with tales of the men and women for whom the taste of notoriety is a finer wine by far. Johnny Ringo is just one man among many mean-spirited, foul-mouthed and lawless villains, but he is also by far and away one of the most bloody-minded. Set apart from many other by dint of his inherent charm and good breeding, Ringo is supremely arrogant and self-absorbed; using his "superior" intellect to bamboozle his underlings and impress the gullible.

    Plaguing the settlements and townships in the Arizona Territory such as Tombstone, Ringo is a crack-shot, cold-blooded killer; a marksman without peer and he is justly feared for it. High Marshal Earp believes Ringo has taken down more opponents in duels than any other man in the Territory. Indeed, the only man Ringo seems to avoid a duel with is the equally skilled Doc Holliday. A showdown between those two would surely be both legendary and decisive.

    Despite his tendency to bear grudges and pursue personal revenge against any number of foes, Ringo is, in his own way, a superlative leader, commanding respect and fear from those who follow his command in his infamous Cowboy's gang. Ringo works closely with the nefarious Bill Brocius and some say that it is Bill who is really the brains behind the Cowboys success. Together they are equally at home planning a bank heist as they are opening fire on a Lawmen posse just for the sheer and unbridled joy of it. The Cowboys include the disfigured and spiteful Misty Mimms, a woman wanted in numerous territories for violent crimes and with a particular hatred of Jesse James. The veteran prospector and ruthless killer Ike Clanton; his brother Billy Clanton, known as Chef because of his penchant for knife-play; the mysterious trick shooter Annie Mozee who is wanted in for the murder of Francis Butler and Hulda Haines in 1871. The final member of the gang is Frank McLaury, mortally wounded by the Earps and transformed by experimental Enlightened technology at the hands of Kyle the Black into the psychotic H-Bot 44. The Cowboys stampede their way through the region, robbing, killing, gambling and drinking their way to their notion of glory.

    The Cowboys Posse kit builds seven multi-part resin miniatures;

    • 1x Johnny Ringo
    • 1x Bill Brocius
    • 1x Misty Mimms
    • 1x Frank "H-Bot 44" McLaury
