Altered: Trial by Frost Tumult Championship

You will need to know the email you used to reserve a seat when you check in at the event. You will need an account for Altered.gg to participate in the event.

Join us for our first Altered Tumult Championship at Valhalla Hobby on Saturday, April 12th at 1pm!

Entry fee is $15. Format is Standard Constructed BO1 Swiss Rounds. Any deck submitted for an event has to follow Standard Constructed deck construction guidelines and deck legality. Rounds will have a 35 minute timer. Up to 8 Players: 4 Rounds and Top 4 cut. 9-16 Players: 5 Rounds and Top 8 cut.

Prizing:
All players will receive 5 participation packs of Beyond the Gates at the end of the swiss rounds.
1st Place: Trial by Frost Tumult Champion Playmat, Trial by Frost Foil Adventure Pack
2nd - 8th: Trial by Frost Foil Adventure Pack
Top Faction Player: The highest ranking players from each faction will receive an oversized Faction Scout promo card

This schedule assumes the maximum number of rounds, a top 8 cut, and that all rounds go to time.

This event will be part of the Kuraokami Community Event. When a player wins the title of Tumult Champion, their deck’s faction gains 1 point. By the end of the Kuraokami Community Event, the faction with the most points will unlock a Kuraokami Unbound Common and Rare card design in their faction. The faction that comes in second will unlock the out of faction Rare card design of Kuraokami Unbound. All Altered players will be rewarded with the 3 versions of the card, Common, Rare and Rare-F in their digital collection, available through Print-on-demand.
