With the seemingly inexhaustible wealth of Sultan Mustafa the Golden, the arcane equipment of the mysterious and secretive Order, and the ruthless ferocity of Princess Scheherazade's Crimson League; the Sultanate stands resplendent, ready to take on all who deign to encroach on its domains. Whilst some might whisper that the realm teeters on the edge of chaos, so long as this triumvirate holds, the Sultanate will endure. Though they wield unearthly weapons that can obliterate lesser ships wholesale, the navies of the Sublime Porte have an even greater science at their call: portals, from which they launch devastating surprise assaults before vanishing back from whence they came.

The Sultanate Starter Set provides budding Admirals with a great starting point for building a fearsome fleet of Turkish units, or for expanding an existing collection into a formidable armada. True to Sultanate doctrine, highly mobile Iskandar Cruisers are a common sight in fleets scattered across the globe, their sleek hulls and Yanal-engines allowing them to veer and wheel in ways that are unachievable for the cruisers of the other Great Powers. The smaller Izmir Monitor can navigate its way through shallow waters with ease and, along with Temir Frigates and Celik Destroyers, these patrolling vessels serve a vital role by dueling roving raiders and privateers that target the archipelagoes and coastal settlements of Mustafa's domain.

One of the most striking aspects of the Sultanate's navies is the presence of Ikili, or double-hulled, ships that can carry the deadliest of advanced weapons into the fray. These vessels, notably the Bayezid Grand Cruiser, boast horrendous levels of firepower and durability, allowing them to hold their own against enemy battlecruisers. A new creation from the Shipyards of Anatolia, the Mehmed Command Cruiser is an Ikili vessel that builds on the success of earlier designs to act as a dependable front-line flagship, its Portal Generator capable of creating shimmering gateways that provide previously-unattainable levels of mobility and otherwise-impossible angles of attack.

Dystopian Wars is a naval tabletop wargame that uses highly detailed miniatures to represent huge engines of destruction on, above, and below the high seas. Set in the Dystopian Age, an alternate late-nineteenth century of our own world, the Great Powers of the globe use super science and alien engineering as they clash over resources and power. Battleships and cruisers sail the surface of the sea while sky fortresses and dirigibles soar in the sky above. Submarines lurk beneath the waves alongside squid automata and colossal mechanical knights. Fighters and bombers circle, waiting to dive upon their prey. All of this combines for an intense, tactical experience.
