This Terms of Service applies to all visitors to the Valhalla Hobby or Comics, Games, and Things websites, and was last updated 12/31/2023. If you choose to use our websites, you agree to the conditions outlined in our Terms of Service. Our Terms of Service outlines the terms and conditions that all users agree to follow by using our service.

Important terms used throughout this document are designated as follows:

Our Platform: refers to all websites and services provided by Comics, Games, and Things LLC, including but not limited to ValhallaHobby.com and ComicsGamesandThings.com.

User: any person who has registered for an account on Our Platform.

Visitor: any person who accesses Our Platform without being registered for an account.

Product: refers to and goods, services, or event registration sold on Our Platform.

Buyer: any person who places an order for Product through the checkout on Our Platform. This includes Users and Visitors.

These Terms of Service (TOS) govern the rights and obligations of Comics, Games, and Things LLC, (hereinafter ‘CG&T’ or ‘Valhalla Hobby’) and govern all interactions associated with the use of Our Platform.

The parties agree that all internet sales and content hosting on Our Platform are governed exclusively by these Terms of Service.

CG&T reserves the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. You are therefore responsible for regularly reviewing the Terms of Service as they are detailed on our website at:

Your continued use of Our Platform shall be deemed your conclusive acceptance of the modified agreement, which shall be applicable to all accounts created, information provided, and orders placed following modification. Terms for internet sales will be those applicable on the date of the order by the Buyer.

These general terms shall prevail over any other general or special conditions not specifically approved by CG&T.

Pricing

Prices on Our Platform are displayed and charged in US Dollars (USD). Prices are first displayed to Users and Visitors without tax. The tax amount to be charged on purchases is displayed to Buyers once the billing address tied to the purchase is entered during checkout. The amount of tax due is calculated using the combined subtotals of all Products included in a specific purchase by the Buyer.

Payment

Payments made by Buyers on Our Platform are processed by reputable Payment Processors including Stripe and PayPal. CG&T is not responsible for errors made by these Payment Processors during the process of payment, though we will seek to resolve such issues to the best of our ability.

If our Payment Processors flag the payment of an order as ‘fraudulent’ or ‘likely fraudulent’ we reserve the right to cancel the order and any other orders placed under the same email or User account, and ban the User account from Our Platform entirely. If a Buyer initiates a dispute through their bank that we believe to be fraudulent or in error, we reserve the right to ban the User account and refuse future service to the Buyer on Our Platform or in our physical store.

Product

In the event that CG&T supplies the incorrect Product for an order, the Buyer will be entitled to a replacement item for the Product originally purchased, or a refund for the amount paid for the Product that was not received, at the discretion of CG&T. The Buyer is not entitled to a replacement or refund for Product mistakenly purchased by the Buyer if the order was fulfilled by CG&T in accordance with the order confirmation email received by the Buyer at the time of purchase. If the Buyer does not seek to return a Product within 30 days of their shipping confirmation email, they will no longer be entitled to a refund or replacement for that Product.

CG&T is not responsible for Product that was not received by the Buyer in the event that the address provided by the Buyer is incorrect, incomplete, or out of date.

CG&T is not responsible for defects or damage to Product which was not visible on the exterior of the product at the time of shipping or in-store purchase.

Order cancellations requested after tracking information has been sent for the order will be processed as returns. Preorders and Backorders cancelled more than 72 hours after payment may be subject to a 25% cancellation fee. Pickup orders cancelled more than 48 hours after a Ready for Pickup email is sent for the order may be subject to a 5% restocking fee.

Unpaid pickup orders may be returned to stock 14 days after a Ready for Pickup email is sent. Paid pickup orders may incur a storage fee of $1 per day starting 85 days after the Ready for Pickup email is sent. In the event that the storage fees incurred equal or exceed the total paid toward the order, the order will be cancelled without refund and the items will be returned to stock.

Limited Liability

Comics, Games, and Things LLC is not liable for any loss or damages to the Buyer due to service outages, orders incorrectly or mistakenly placed by the Buyer, or injury by Product purchased through Our Platform.
