Dystopian Wars is a naval tabletop wargame that uses highly detailed miniatures to represent huge engines of destruction on, above, and below the high seas. Set in the Dystopian Age, an alternate late-nineteenth century of our own world, the Great Powers of the globe use super-science and alien engineering as they clash over resources and power. Battleships and cruisers sail the surface of the sea while sky fortresses and dirigibles soar in the sky above. Submarines lurk beneath the waves alongside squid automata and colossal mechanical knights. Fighters and bombers circle, waiting to dive upon their prey. All of this combines for an intense, tactical experience.

The Victory & Valour Deck is integral to the game of Dystopian Wars. Each card has multiple uses that add to your tactical options. Victory Conditions allow you to maximise your Victory Point tally, guiding your fleet towards scoring Objectives, be it through destroying specific enemy units, or claiming strategic locations in the Play Area. In short, they can be your key to victory. Conversely, if you want to keep your opponent on their toes, you might want to make use of Valour Effects. These are immediate buffs to your models, and bonuses which can be used to add Action Dice, re-roll undesirable results, reposition your units, and so much more. Additionally, the Value on these cards will be utilised for your units’ Crew Checks, determining Initiative, and for other decisive moments in your game.

Whichever way you choose to use your cards, they can only be used once, so choose wisely! Mastering the Victory & Valour deck is vital to mastering the game of Dystopian Wars.

Initially developed by the Steinbrücke Flugzeughersteller company in 1863 as a passenger plane, capable of circumventing even the travel time of the Imperium's well-established Querfeldein railway network, it was not long before invested parties within seats of government purchased these designs for themselves.

Boasting unmatched manoeuvrability thanks to a supercharger engine, the effectiveness of the Messer is further enhanced by its armament: a pair of 30mm high-velocity cannons. The ammunition uses an expensive tungsten core, able to penetrate armour with ease, making the Messer as deadly at attacking armoured targets on the ground as it is in the intense dogfight waged above it.

Scion Grenadiers stand fast, firing their voltaic rifles at the enemy, causing arcs of electricity to dance across the opposing ranks. Sturmpanzer Battletanks grind implacably forward, making the most of their varied weapons systems. The warrior lodges of the Totenkopf and Luftlancers race ahead using their speed and close quarters skill to their terrifying advantage. Field Guns roll forward on wheelbelts, ready to unleash their assorted payloads at those who would defy the Imperium. Lucifyr Heavy Walkers stalk forests and other areas of cover, prepared to unleash gouts of flame upon anyone thinking they might hide. Teutonic Armigers march alongside the force, at once part of the Imperium and separate from it, their huge suits of armour glistening in the sunlight. All the while, their Squires silently attend to them and assault anyone who gets too close. Prowling the flanks, the Scion Biewagen hunt for targets either aerial or armoured, dependent upon their armaments. Finally, the Sturmwagen Transports, the overlooked backbone of the Imperium fighting machine. They convey troops across the battlefield, pull field guns into position and perform numerous other menial tasks, but without them the armies of the Imperium would grind to a halt.
